The main 2 issues for us was the bed and the AC. The bed was super uncomfortable, you could feel the springs in your back. The AC regulator wasn’t working, so it would get super cold at night, had to wake up and shut it off, but then it would be warm again. We chose a cheaper hotel because we only needed a place where to spend the night, but the nights were not great, we didn’t feel rested at all and we actually both got a cold after leaving this place. Other than that though the staff and location were great!

Het Mincaecohabs Hotel Hotel ligt in de heuvels buiten Santa Marta. U kunt er prachtige wandelingen in de tropische tuin maken. Er is gratis WiFi beschikbaar en een gratis ontbijt is inbegrepen. Prachtige huisjes, wat ouder maar alles voorhanden en brandschoon. Super vriendelijk personeel. Warm water, koelkast alles prima. Restaurant ter plekke goed. Echt prima gegeten.

Promisedland Tayrona Cabins Hotel heeft een buitenzwembad, een tuin, een gedeelde lounge en een terras in Buritaca. Dit hotel met 3 sterren biedt een gedeelde keuken en gratis WiFi. We liked everything about the property and the staff who were there when you needed them and were nowhere to be seen when you didn’t need them. The accommodation itself was fantastic. We had the cabin with the sea view. It was a little bit of a trek to get there up a steep climb but well worth it. The accommodation had hot and cold water, air-conditioning and electricity with a small microwave inside and coffee making facilities With complimentary coffee of course. the place was immaculately clean and the staff were always on the hand and extremely helpful during our stay I had my birthday there and the staff laid on a special surprise for me around the swimming pool area and then they all sang happy birthday to me All in all. It’s a wonderful place to stay and I would recommend it to anybody. It’s perhaps not suitable to stay in the top cabin for people with disabilities as although it has a concrete path almost all the way to the top, the last bit would be a struggle for people with disabilities . However down in the main area where the dining room, kitchens and reception are the accommodation is perfect for anybody with disabilities. in our group we had one person with a wheelchair who stayed main accommodation area making it easy for him to get to the dining area. The area itself is situated just off of the main coastal road and is within easy access to lots of various beaches along the coastal road all within very easy reach of public transport which will stop outside the entrance to promisedland making day trips out to the beaches very easy

Hotel Hukumeizi Minca is gelegen in Minca, op 35 km van Quinta de San Pedro Alejandrino, en biedt accommodatie met een tuin, gratis privéparkeren, een terras en een restaurant. We hadden prachtige dagenin Hukameizi. Jorge en iedereen die er werkt is super vriendelijk en behulpzaam. We hielden ervan om de rivier en de waterval die vlakbij ligt voor ons alleen te hebben. Bovenal was het eten voortreffelijk. Het was moelijk om daarna tijdens onze reis nog op restaurant te gaan zonder de maaltijd te vergelijken met die van Hukumeizi. 🤭 Ook de ontmoeting met de inheemse bevolking was heel bijzonder. Wil je een verblijf buiten de typische begaande paden logeren, midden in de natuur maar toch met alle comfort (beste bed tijdens onze reis) twijfel dan niet!

Hotel Tayromar ligt op slechts 3 minuten lopen van het strand van Santa Marta en biedt comfortabele kamers met gratis WiFi en airconditioning. I booked a least expensive room. The first room I got was a dark small room without a window on the first floor (more precisely it has a window with a screen and when I opened the screen there is a wall from the next building a meter apart). So I asked the receptionist if I can get a better room then he gave me a room with a window facing the street on the second floor which was very nice, with a lot of sunlight. Location is very good, 1 block from the beach and 2 blocks (enough separation) from noisy parque de novios.
