Breakfast was good and staff were too.

Clearly managers in training. The kitchen beside the pool was well equipped for our breakfast of cold cereal. There is a hot plate and BBQ which we did not try out. Both beds were pushed against the walls. We were able to move the double bed away from the wall and use the side chair so both sides of the bed could have a bedside table of sorts. Towels are thick, soft.and absorbant. Shower is slow to heat but then warm.

The Sunset Shack also features free WiFi throughout the property. Sunset Shack was in a great location, close to the beach, short walk to the shops and more restaurants. The room was spacious, comfy beds and amazing shower. The hotel/bungalows are quiet and the Al Chile restaurant joined to the hotel is great. We were able to order and eat by the pool.

Both WiFi and private parking are accessible at the lodge free of charge. This is a beautiful spot. It is a short walk (10 mins) to a lovely beach. There is a nice pool on site and a good restaurant (food and drinks appropriately priced for quality - not cheap, but good). We found the stay very relaxing and have no complaints at all.

Casa Buenavista is located in Carrillo, 300 meters from the beach. It offers air-conditioned rooms in a tropical garden.

Each room has a private bathroom with hot water, cable TV, Wi-Fi, ceiling fan, refrigerator and a private terrace overlooking the garden. I really enjoyed my stay and hope to visit again in the future (when the weather is a bit nicer). The property itself had everything I needed, but the beach and two very good restaurants were within walking distance. The family that runs the hotel is great.
