Bamboo River Lodge tiene jardín, salón de uso común, terraza y restaurante en Horquetas. What an amazing place. The rooms are a really good size with two very comfortable double beds. Good to have proper coverings for the windows that blocked out light. It was so quiet here at night. Lovely grounds with lots of birds and a troop of howler monkeys visited whilst we were there. Dinner was exceptional. No menu just said we ate everything and a large tray for the two of us arrived. It was all so tasty. Definitely recommend this place as a convenient overnight stay before or after getting the boat to Tortugero.

Sleeping in the « domo » (the yurt) was truly magical. we could thus hear nature better. The bedroom and bathroom area were spacious, comfortable and very clean. The garden and the property are really gorgeous We took advantage of it to take the 4km walk in the forest path into the property. The view from the restaurant is incredible for breakfast. Breakfast and dinner were excellent. Our guests was super kind and helpful!

Este lodge se encuentra en la reserva biológica de Tirimbina, a 2 km del Parque de la Virgen. Ofrece WiFi gratuita, un amplio jardín y terraza amueblada. Amazing! Very cosy place, exceeded our expectations (after reading some sceptical reviews)! It is a very comfortable, tranquile, lots of nature around you, wonderful people, working at it. We also liked the tours and the restaurant (and very kindhearted ladies in it :) p.s. try to "use" the time before and after the tourists "from outside the gate" come (evening and morning, before 9-10 a.m.). It is not becoming too crowdy, but before this you have a feeling of being "nearly alone in a beautiful nature". After this you can enjoy a wonderful terrace, where we saw many nice birds and beautiful frogs.

El Poas Volcano Lodge está junto a una selva nublada protegida y ofrece vistas impresionantes al volcán de Poas. Excelente paramos aquí de camino a fortuna y nos hubiera encantado quedarnos más. Super cómoda la habitación, el desayuno completo, nosotras celíacas nos hicieron especialmente algo. La atención muy buena! Me olvidé el cargador y me ayudaron a recuperarlo enviándomelo a otro hotel. Lo super recomiendo si van al volcán Poas.
