Hotel El Mesala offers a panoramic view across the Nile, opposite the great obelisk of the Luxor Temple. It features a swimming pool with a deck and sun loungers. It also has a rooftop restaurant and a large garden. Best hotel we stayed at during our trip to Egypt. We spent only one night in Luxor but would have enjoyed staying more. Perfect location (I can only recommend staying in the West bank because of the atmosphere and proximity of the hot air balloon for instance, and this hotel is right by the pier), facilities (swimming pool!, great restaurant with a pool table and excellent breakfast)and really nice staff. Both us, parents and our kids felt very comfortable there and greatly enjoyed this place. The manager, Ahmed, was accommodating and easy to talk with.

I booked 4 rooms and all of them are clean and big, air conditioning works very good, the staff was very helpful, the owner and his family were very nice and helpful like a family, the food was very nice and fresh they helped us a lot for our trip around Luxor, make easier for us, even our transportation to Aswan. I will definitely recommend it . Had very good memories.

The location faces the Valley of the Kings, and the rooftop food was delicious, with generous portions and affordable prices. There was also a lovely little garden right outside our room.
