The hotel is genuinely one of the most beautiful hotels you can find in Cairo. Yes, you might find cheaper options, but believe me, the compromise on quality isn't worth it. We stayed here for three nights and then decided to extend our reservation for another day, but there was no availability, so we found a different, cheaper hotel. That's when I truly realized that the Sayyed Efendi Hotel is one of the finest hotels in Cairo. If you can find an available room, I'd say don't miss it. In Cairo, you'll likely be out exploring all day, and when you return to your room, it feels like a remedy to step into a space isolated from the city's chaos and noise. All the employees, especially those at the reception, were incredibly friendly, and chatting with them was a lot of fun. The beds and pillows we slept on were very comfortable. Absolutely no noise came into the room, which is a very important detail. And to get to the part that truly enchanted me: the bathrooms were wonderful. You can wash away the day's fatigue under a great shower. Frankly, I stayed at another hotel in Cairo, and it was nothing like this. Believe me, in a country like this, the comfort of the shower you take when you return to your room in the evening is very important. Your towels are changed daily, they provide high-quality shampoo and shower gel, and there's hot water available at all times. As for the breakfast, it's also one of the best you can find in Cairo. While there are local varieties, there are also flavors to suit everyone's palate, so don't worry, you won't go hungry (at worst, you can have cereal). There is a very nice rooftop terrace where breakfast is also served. It’s like a cafe, and it's a separate pleasure to come up in the evening and chat in the cool air. We arrived early, and they did everything they could to help us.

Aura Garden City Hotel is gelegen in Caïro, op 17 minuten lopen van Egyptisch Museum, en biedt uitzicht op de tuin. The staff was super good especially keko and mostafa dishaa, they really welcomed us and took care of us. We also did the tours with them, super worth it and value for money, especially the driver Sarwat, he was amazing and we really enjoyed the whole tours, he spoke good English and take us to eat really good food.

I enjoyed my stay to the maximum,starting from the warm welcoming from Sherok and the nice guy at the reception area to the nice clean conditioned room. The bathroom was clean and convenient. The location is excellent, few steps from Tahrir square Also, the breakfast they offer is delicious with a nice variety.

Downtown Antique Hotel bevindt zich in Caïro, op 18 minuten lopen van Tahrirplein, en biedt versneld in- en uitchecken, rookvrije kamers, een terras, gratis WiFi in de hele accommodatie en een bar. Het Hotel is een voortreffelijke plek om vandaaruit Cairo te verkennen. Genoten heb ik van mijn vele wandeltochten (GPS via Komoot) naar de vele moskeeën, madrassas, mausolea door Oud Cairo. Uitmuntend ontbijt verzorgt door net, attent personeel. Het personeel bij de receptie, vriendelijk, beleeft en Engelstalig was zeer geintresseerd in mijn wandeltochten, specifiek Marwan Ibrahim.
