Dit voormalige klooster uit de 17e eeuw ligt op 2 minuten lopen van de haven van Honfleur en is omgebouwd tot een B&B. The room is spacious with tasteful decoration. The surrounding is very relaxing with lots of trees. Location is easy to walk into the centre.

Gîte des granges bevindt zich in Alençon, op 5 minuten lopen van Halle au Blé en 4,6 km van Alencon-en-Arconnay Golf Course en biedt uitzicht op de tuin en gratis WiFi. The gite had everything we needed, was all new and clean and more with the outdoor space and sauna if it had been in the summer we’d of definitely used all the facilities. Very good location, and the communication with the owner was great with all explained prior to arrival. The car parking was great, was a bit hesitant as it’s an underground car park and I have a big 4x4 but surprisingly had plenty of space and the height was 1.90.

This was simply exceptional, from the moment we arrived on the boat, right through our stay, to the time we left. We were simply mesmerised by the Island and by the hotel, and this stay is something we will remember for a long time to come. We stayed in a suite and the room was fantastic. The furniture was most comfortable and both it and the decor were very tasteful. The room temperature was always perfect and the views out to the garden were stunning. The bathroom was probably the best hotel bathroom I've ever experienced. In typical French fashion, the toilet is in its own room, while the bath, his/hers sinks, and shower, are in a different room. This latter part was spacious and modern, and all around great. The restaurant was great. The menu is simple, but was perfect for us, and not overly pricey. Hotel guests can access the museum free of charge. Its well worth the visit too. The island itself is fantastic. Though the review is for the hotel and not the island, it wouldn't feel complete without mentioning the island. The nature, the beach walks, the UNESCO site - all well worth taking the time to do or explore. Lastly, the staff were great. Very friendly and very helpful. I can't comment on the standard rooms in this hotel but I would recommend paying the extra to upgrade to the suite.

La maison du bonheur bevindt zich in Port-en-Bessin-Huppain, op 5,9 km van Duitse batterij D-Day en 8,2 km van Overlord Museum, en biedt uitzicht op de tuin. The property was extremely clean and had everything we could need.inluding a bottle of wine and biscuits on arrival. The owners lived nest doors, so they were always on hand if weneeded help but never interfered. Perfect stop for visiting the 5 World War 2 d day landing beaches

Chambres d'Hôtes Le Clos des Marronniers ligt in Douvres-la-Délivrande in de regio Laag-Normandië, op 10 km van Juno Beach en biedt gratis WiFi, een speeltuin, een tuin en gratis privéparkeren. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here, and have no complaints. The service was simply amazing - the owners were extremely helpful when it came to providing light dinner after we checked in far too late, and breakfast was delicious as well. The rooms were clean, very nicely designed, and made us feel like royalty at a chateau. Lastly, the location was also ideal; less than 10 minutes from a D-day landing beach, and close to the beautiful city of Caen.

We stayed three nights here, and it was really lovely. We were jet lagged, but we were able to relax and rest because the flat was cozy. The decor was very tasteful, and it showed off the history of the building. Penny met us by the lane and guided us where the apartment was so we wouldn't get lost. She was so helpful and answered all our questions very quickly throughout our stay. The kitchen was very well equipped. We were able to have a seafood meal in the flat.. Penny really thoighy of all the details to make pur stay a most comfortable one. Convenient location without being noisy.
