She is the great, great-grandson of the first inhabitants and tells the story of the house with pride and care. We were greeted very nicely. I recommend it to everyone. Room was clean and cozy, breakfast was delicious and varied. I regret that we only stayed for one day.

Located in the scenic Mikro Papigko village in the area of Zagoria, the traditionally built Papigo Towers consists of 2 building, one of which is dated from the early 19th century. Amazing food, staff and location. Beautiful building with very rustic, cozy rooms. Awesome views of the mountains. Breakfast was incredible.

Hotel Machalas is a large complex of apartments. It is located in Kipoi village which is in central Zagori. The complex’s traditional architecture is based on wood and hand-hewn stone. The property located right at the beginning of the loop trail along the famous bridges of Zagori. Authentic design, perfect cleanliness, comfortable bed, small good equipped kitchen, self controlled fast heating, hot water any time. Great tavern just across the street. Good breakfast. Our deepest gratitude to the owners.
