Located in the truck park at the Austrian border crossing in Hegyeshalom, 100 metres from the border, Autohof Hotel Hegyeshalom features free WiFi throughout the property. This is the second time we have chosen the hotel to break our long journey. It is conveniently located next to the highway and still it is very quiet and smells really well. Staff are fast, the parking is right in front. The room is big enough, the bed is comfortable; the pillows are great. The bathroom is really nice, the water stream is excellent. There is also a complimentary bottle of mineral water.

Very nice hotel in a little town shopping area close to the border. The room was nice, silent and clean. The young lady receptionist was professional, very helpful, speaking a very good English. The breakfast and dinner were great in the hotel' cosy restaurant. Good price for half board.

Hotel Barokk lies in a picturesque park close to Hegyeshalom, at the M-1/ M-15 motorway next to the Austrian and Slovakian border. The Barokk Hotel proved to be a fantastic stopover on our trip. Its location right off the highway offered incredibly easy access, making it perfect for breaking up a long journey. Beyond its convenient location, the hotel boasts beautiful grounds filled with lush greenery, offering a truly restful environment for both the eyes and spirit. The staff were polite and attentive, and the breakfast spread was impressive with a wide variety of delicious options.. All this, combined with the very reasonable price, made for excellent value. As a bonus, the nearby Flamingó restaurant provided a great dinner option.
