The staff was amazing too. We were running late for dinner at the hotel and the restaurant was going to close by the time we got there. Tea and coffee making facilities and a work desk are found in most rooms at Hótel Mývatn. This is a beautiful hotel in an amazing location. The Lake Myvatn area around the hotel was everything we hoped for and more. The trails around the nearby lake offered excellent walking and hiking. The hotel is quite close to other area attractions including the Myvatn baths. The included breakfast was exceptional with more choices than one could hope to work through in a stay of several days. Dinner in the restaurant was also very good and service from hotel and restaurant staff was very good. We enjoyed our stay.
