Set in 3 floors without lift, it offers classic rooms with wood floors, free WiFi and satellite TV. Everything was great, hotel is extremely nice, small family hotel with soul and unique interior, very cosy. Breakfast is very nice, nothing fancy, service is very good and kind. Each room at Milano Hotel come with a minibar and a TV. We had a great stay at the Milano Hotel. This is a 3-star hotel that has ticked all the boxes a 3-star hotel needs to offer its guests. The room is clean, neat, and refurbished; the windows are new, and outside noise is almost non-existent. The room is cute, all that one needs for a good night's sleep in a city. The breakfast was a decent Italian breakfast with some touches of Slovenian and Austrian breakfast influence. The staff was very friendly and professional. And last, but not least, the bicycle storage was excellent. Thank you all so much for providing a safe storage space for our bicycles overnight. It means a lot to us.

Tre Merli Beach Hotel features panoramic views across the Gulf of Trieste. There is free Wi-Fi, free parking, and direct access to the seaside. During summer months the property offers access to a terrace with sun beds and parasols. If you want to enjoy Trieste without the crowds this place is for you. We loved the private access to the beach, the city is also not far (we took the public bus, just note it’s very packed when everyone is returning from the public beach back to the city). Very relaxing place with good aperol! 😊staff was very friendly and accommodating. We will be back!

Hotel Al Viale features air-conditioned rooms, each with an LCD TV and free Wi-Fi. Hydromassage showers are available on request. All staff so lovely and helpful. We could leave our bags there as we had a 2 day break to go to Aquileia. Good location close to many eating places and closes to buses. Easy walk to the main attractions but far enough away to get away from the crowds!

Trieste's Cruise Terminal and Congress Centre are also nearby. The staff was amazing, so friendly all the time. The room was clean, tidy and comfortable. The location was perfect and overall the place is a 10/10
