El Kusatsu Onsen Eidaya se encuentra en Kusatsu. El alojamiento está situado a 10 minutos a pie de Kusatsu Yubatake y de la terminal de autobuses de Kusatsu-Onsen. This place was amazing!! The private onsen was perfect, they even have a web you can check through your phone to check availability. Staff can speak english and its really quiet. Perfect for resting.

Pequeño hotel bien renovado con una bonita área común y un par de bañeras privadas ( para 2) con agua termal. Está muy limpio y en una zona tranquila, residencial. Los WC y duchas son compartidas, pero hay dos en cada planta y están muy limpios .Es un sitio recomendable.

This little Ryokan-style hotel was so nice that I missed it very much after leaving Kusatsu Onsen. I have stayed in a total of 14-16 hotels all over Japan by now (over the years) and this is easily one of the best (if not the very best). I appreciated the vegetarian breakfast very much: it was very elegant as well as nutritious. They also checked the ingredients with me. The wide Tatami mat area exceeded expectations: I could relax with panoramic views of the snow capped mountains while dining or just working (digital nomad-ing was easy with fast wifi). There were many drawers and cupboards: storage space was never an issue. The Toto Smart toilet was more advanced than those variants in 5-Star hotels. The hotel is proximate to all the important places and just opposite the bus stand: I only just had to cross the road with my luggage. I also discovered multiple short routes to Yubatake every single day (I stayed for three days). The same family/organisation also operates the Yume Hana restaurant next door and guests of Oyado Yukizumi receive a complimentary beverage service while dining in Yume Hana. The Yukata they provide is very nice and I wore the same to the main Onsens in the area. The staff are very caring and kind hearted, for example, when I was leaving, seeing that it was raining, they asked me to take their umbrella with me (I declined the same). Later, I missed the level of kindness and attention to each individual guest I received while staying here - that is something you will not get from large branded hotels. Thank you, Oyado Yukizumi, I was very touched.

Kusatsu Hotel Bekkan Wata no Yu (Adult Only) está en Kusatsu, a 45 km de Parque de los Monos de Jigokudani y a 14 km de Mt. Kusatsu Shirane. Amazing experience (I stayed 3 nights). - amazing staff (in particular the lady in charge who speaks English and is very helpful (how to wear a yukata, how to bath in onsen, explaining local delicacy) - location: walking distance from everything but also a more charming place than traditional downtown kusatsu hotel (especially next to the park) - food ! Please book breakfast and at least try dinner once (very generous 12+ courses even if more pricey than regular plate but quality and quantity were insane) - large rooms with futon and beautiful view (only 10 rooms in this hotel), Onsen quiet and always on - yukata + kimono

The room was clean and very spacious! The hotel offers pyjamas and Yukatas for guests. The breakfast was so tasty and the service was incredible! The Onsen is private and available from 3pm to 9am. Overall we loved our experience and would come back anytime.

El Oyado Tamaki cuenta con baños de aguas termales cubiertos y al aire libre y un jardín tradicional con bancos. The property is near public transportation, which is a big plus for a solo traveller without a car. I took a room with a private onsen, which was really enjoyable. The dinner and breakfast were all excellent. The staff were very nice and accommodating. I really felt warm-hearted when they tried to explain the dinner menu in english and did a handwritten english translation of the breakfast menu. They also offered to drop me off at the bus station and reminded me when to expect the bus. It was incredibly sweet. I do love the area as it was a good break from the city’s hustle and bustle. The Ikaho footsteps is about a 5-minute walk. It has a lot of shops so it is a good distraction while climbing the stairs.
