Breakfast was a delightful experience, with a variety of options to choose from. It was evident that the hosts take pride in providing a top-notch experience for their guests. They were always available to assist with anything and even helped us arrange tours to local highlights like Sigiriya Rock, Minneriya National Park, and Habarana Lake. The location is ideal for exploring the cultural and natural wonders of the area while still being a serene retreat. I highly recommend Gisban Wood Cabana & Hostel for anyone visiting Habarana. It offers incredible value for money, a welcoming environment, and an experience that is truly unforgettable.

The location is perfect- just a few steps from Bus and Train Stations, very close to all the sites, shops and restaurants. The room is big and well maintained. The WiFi is very good. You can order food there and the price is reasonable. As the hotel is small, you have all the attention of the staff and they are ready to help at any time. I want to give a special thanks to Mahinda, who did everything he could so as to guarantee that my needs were met - from organizing tours and tuck tuck to helping with my phone :) So I definitely recommend this hotel to all people who want to spend a wonderful time there.
