All the staff, including Lukshan and Ishan were very welcoming, and did their best to make me feel at home throughout my stay. It was nice to have some good conversations with them. I had the opportunity to get an upgrade to a beautifully appointed and spacious room equipped with a high-roofed loft space, which gave off ski chalet vibes. While it was cold and damp for much of my time in Nuwara Eliya, inside it always felt warm and cosy, with nice touches like a virtual fireplace and a heater in my room. They also serve delicious food, including a superb Sri Lankan breakfast and a wide variety of dishes to choose from on their dinner menu, and offered complimentary tea/coffee and cake upon my arrival and when i got back after a morning out. Also they packed a nice breakfast for me for me to collect early in the morning when i headed out to Horton Plains.

As soon as we arrived Amali helped to sort us a tuk tuk for a tea factory tour & to see all the waterfalls for a good price. The bed was huge and very comfortable especially the thick blankets. The breakfast was also very tasty and was lovely to chat with Roshan & Amali who are very friendly. We loved visiting Nuwara Eliya and this guest house was a great place to come back to after seeing the sights.
