Chami Villa Bentota is located in Bentota just 50 metres from the beach and 100 metres from Bentota Railways Station. the guesthouse provides simple accommodation with private bathrooms and free Wi-Fi access. There are no words to describe the hospitality and kindness, we were welcomed like part of the family. We felt like Chami Villa was second home, it was our first accomodation in Sri Lanka and we miss it already. As I told you, I would give you a 100, but I can only give you a 10. The property is beautiful, rooms are large, very clean with good air-conditioning. Breakfast was abundant and so tastefull. We were 4, 2 adults and 2 children and the triple room had more than enough space for us, the big bed was large enough for 3 to sleep in. When my daughter fell and got wound on her legs, he brought us a cream to help heel it. When we went to the beach, they made sure we had everything we needed. Last but not least, Maya the dog was so charming and our children did not want to leave Chami the last they because of her and they keep mentioning her all the time.

The property is around 1.7 km from Aluthgama Railway Station, 4 km from Kande Viharaya Temple and 5.4 km from Lunuganga. The accommodation features a 24-hour front desk, airport transfers, room service and free WiFi throughout the property. Sisi's place was fantastic, it was pretty much right on the beach and they've fitted it out with everything you could need or want. The bed was super comfy (comfiest pillows we've had the whole trip), they had hanging racks both inside and outside on the balcony to dry any swimming gear, and they had chairs and tables both inside and on the balcony (which had a great view of the train tracks and to the sea). The fridge was so handy, there was a wardrobe, and a dresser/mirror, the room and balcony were so spacious, they had both a fan and and air conditioner which worked great! The room was so clean. The bathroom was great and they also had a squeegee which is an awesome touch with the open shower (hot water works not that you need it). Both hosts were so lovely, and the breakfast was delicious. We also got a lift to and from the turtle sanctuary for a great price. Honestly one of the most comfortable places we stayed. Also a great location. Can't recommend it enough.

This was the best hotel we had in all of Sri Lanka, the room was very big, the bed was nice, the ac worked perfectly, the shower was warm, the staff was very friendly, the breakfast was amazing; so much food you couldn't even finish, the pool was nice and the garden was full of life! Every evening you see hundreds of fruit bats leave their sleeping spot! BOOK THIS HOTEL!

Village Headman's Bungalow is situated in Bentota and is just a 10 minute drive from Bentota City Centre and Bentota River while the Bentota Beach is just a 5 minute drive away. It is 90 km from Bandaranaike Airport. I had a wonderful experience at the VHB Bentota. Property is clean & has a fantastic old time charm. Room was clean, high quality & very comfortable. The bed was super comfy. Staff was very hospitable and there for every need of mine. The food was absolutely amazing & best meal I had while in VHB. I will always stay at this location when traveling to Bentota. I highly recommend this bungalow for anyone visiting downsouth Sri Lanka.

Featuring an outdoor pool and a beautifully-landscaped garden, Villa 80 offers homely and comfortable accommodation with free Wi-Fi access in the entire property. It has a restaurant and provides free parking on site. It was a wonderful vacation! We stayed in this wonderful place in September. Henry, the landlord, made our vacation more than 50% better. We had a variety of local breakfasts, as well as our usual omelets and fried eggs, fresh fruit every day, and yogurt (we even agreed with Henry to buy Kourda on one of the days). We never ate dinner anywhere else but at his place (believe me, we tried it, but it was tastier at our villa). Thanks to the fact that we got together, we got discounts on our dinners, and we saved a lot of money. We weren't forced to use any unnecessary services, which is quite rare in Sri Lanka. The villa's grounds are diverse, with various animals such as peacocks, parrots, mongooses, and flying dogs. At night, the stars and fireflies appear as if in a cartoon. I also celebrated my birthday here, with a festive dinner featuring barbecue, a cake, music, and karaoke. I also tried lobster for the first time. The people who work there are extremely friendly and kind. It feels like we're all a big family. - Here's a brief overview of what I found most important: The area is large and green, with easy access to the road and tuk-tuk rides to the city center or the beach. There's no noise from the road, and no renovations or other annoying sounds. Everything is clean. The rooms are cleaned approximately once every three days, sometimes more frequently. They provide towels, bed linen, a hairdryer, and Wi-Fi. But we bought sim cards at the airport, sometimes the wifi didn't work well, but that's the case everywhere. It's better to bring your own shower gel and shampoo or buy them at the supermarket. There's a kitchen and cutlery. There's clean drinking water in the cooler. There's a mosquito repellent and coils. They'll help you with any issues. The service is excellent. The only minor drawback is the limited storage space. You can also get massages, but we didn't try it.
