The arrangement for Pindurangala was quick and smart! For breakfast, there was fresh juice, lots of fruit and a grilled hopper! There was a pool and the rooms were very spacious. It was a 15-20 minute walk to Sigiriya Rock. I definitely want to go back! There was also a family of monkeys that came to play near the hotel. As long as you don't leave food lying around, they won't do anything. I definitely want to go back to this hotel! Thank you!

Would highly recommend Sunshine Villas. It is beautiful accommodation in a fantastic location with an array of wildlife at your doorstep! They arranged everything for us at ease and great prices. We stayed for 2 nights. Our flight landed at 3am and Sunshine Villas had pickup waiting to bring us straight to the accommodation. On arrival they had a beautiful breakfast waiting. They then accommodated our early check in. After a nap we were brought to the elephant safari by one of the sunshine villa staff which was incredible. They then arranged a tuk tuk driver for us for day 2! I couldnt rate more highly! The staff are so helpful and polite. The room was immaculate with hot water, and a choice of air con or a fan! I would rate 10/10

Great brand new hotel with spacious rooms and a nice pool to cool down after climbing up the rocks. The staff is incredibly nice and helpful, they gave us advice on where to eat/drink and arranged transportation at a very reasonable price. The breakfast is excellent, you cannot eat it all. We were served fruits and freshly squeezed fruit juice, then omelette and next pancakes/local specialty halaba. Also, if you go up the road leading to the hotel you’ll see the fields and a nice lake, perfect location when you’d like to get a break from the tourist crowds

We had a brilliant stay in Lion Gate Hotel! Everyone working there was so kind, friendly and helpful. We had the traditional breakfast in the morning which we really enjoyed. The hotel is a very short tuktuk ride from everything you could want to see and do. We also enjoyed spending time at the pool which was very well maintained.

Guests also have the option to borrow bicycles free of charge, which is a great bonus.

Clean rooms ( spotless ), AC works great , shower was great, grocery store was about 7 min away, enjoyed the breakfast and there staff were really helpful and welcoming. Highly recommended if you are planning to visit the town.

Rooms were named after birds, it was a good theme. Maintenance is top class. Welcoming and friendly. A hidden place in the Sigiriya region. Nature blend private stay. Good signal WiFi. Trust me Television is working and it has hundred channels working,never expected that.
