We had a perfect stay at Hotel Havenzicht. The room was more of an apartment, with hallway, separate toilet and bathroom and studio with the most comfortable bed. The studio had everything one could ask for with sitting area and relax area with tv, fridge and even a balcony with beautiful view over the dykes and local windmill. It also had nice windows going all around so with 180 views of the area, from the harbor, to the sea and local village.Breakfast was served in the room and brought up each morning and it had everything one could wish for, fresh fruit, yoghurt, bread rolls, ham and cheese and even a egg dish (different on our two mornings) and a sweet treat. The location was also perfect about 25 min bike ride from the ferry from Den Helder and then about halfway up the coast, which meant we could explore the rest of the Island with ease. The local harbor for the fishing boats and seal excursions is also right outside, so gives easy access for checking out all the different boats and then sign up for a lovely boat tour. The village Oudeschild also has restaurants, cafes, a very interesting museum, a supermarket and little shops The staff was also super friendly, it's being run by a local couple who put a lot of love and hard work into their hotel and restaurant. We love these kind of small local places and highly recommend it to everyone.

La habitacion nueva. El baño nuevo. Excelente. Las camas muy comodas. Lo unico negativo el poco espacio de la habitacion. Nos tocó una pequeña con el techo abuhardillado. Pero por lo demas excelente.

Lovely people who make you feel like you’re home. Very open and welcoming. The place is beautiful with outstanding furnishings and decorations. Breakfast is fresh and there are many options to choose from. There is a big living room with tables, chairs and sofas and plenty of board games to hang out with friends. I can definitely recommend it to everyone and definitely visit again.

El Havenhotel At Sea Texel goza de una ubicación exclusiva en la entrada del puerto de Oudeschlid. Es un sitio encantador, en el muelle y con unas vistas maravillosas. La atención es extraordinaria, muy buen desayuno y también la cena que tomamos. Es muy especial el sitio, muy conectado con el entorno y lo recomiendo si quieres relajarte y conectar con el mar. Texel es una isla con mucho encanto y muy interesante para recorrer.
