Comfort Hotel Kristiansand is located in central Kristiansand, just 80 metres from Markens pedestrian street and only 250 metres from Kristiansand Train Station. It offers rooms with free Wi-Fi. Very pleasant and functional hotel room which excellently serves it's purpose of accommodating various sorts of guests in this beautiful city. Room was bigger than average with a large single bed almost the size of a twin-bed. Very inteligently composed, well-equiped and definitely so relaxing. Large windows in my room, in one of upper floors, gave me enough natural light. I was also impresed the way this quarter was so decent, quite visited but peaceful at nights. Also elegant in a very old fashioned manner. Everything in acomodation was clean and bed was super comfortable. All of neighborhood is very charming and welcoming to a guest, even though it's quite large and in a very city center. Breakfast was with enough options and plentiful. Alttough hotel is for every recommendation hotel staff is, at least that is my opinion as a frequent traveler who visited more than 40 countries wordwide, up to the task and equallly worthy resource of this hotel. Always very kind, with a sincere smile and ready to serve the guest. Definitely, all of this experience was excellent memory and good value for money.

SKAP Hostel Mandal está en Mandal, a 14 min a pie de Playa de Sjøsanden, y tiene terraza, habitaciones libres de humo y wifi gratis. This hostel is actually a student residence, which rooms are rented out to tourists in the summer. I had a large double room with plenty of space, which was nice. The bathroom was also larger than expected, but the shower was quite tight for some reason. Free parking was a nice perk. The hostel is in a quiet area. I noticed that it's wheelchair-friendly: ramp outside, elevator, and staircase lift for an intermediate floor. Downtown Mandal isn't very big so it's easy to walk anywhere, and they have maps (and good advice) at the front desk.

Everything you need in one place. After multiple stops across Norway arriving from Oslo this was a welcome rest. Nice view from our room. The decor was a bit dated but super clean. Staff were friendly and helpful. Try the Fish Soup at the Restaurant and breakfast buffet gave a good start to the day.
