El Hotel Os Moinhos está situado en la isla de San Jorge, en la cercana isla de Pico, y ofrece vistas a la montaña más alta de Portugal. We loved the comfort, the silence, the view, the staff (very helpful, run by a family), and the restaurant had the best food of the island.

Aparthotel Barracuda se encuentra en Ponta Delgada y ofrece alojamiento bien equipado y con wifi gratis a pocos pasos de Playa de San Roque y a 17 km de Pico do Carvao. La ubicación y las vistas son excelentes junto a la playa. El desayuno correcto y suficiente. El personal excelente.

Este hotel ofrece habitaciones amplias alrededor de un jardín interior con fuente y cuenta con restaurante, sala de TV y WiFi gratuita en todas las instalaciones. We had a wonderful stay. The room was comfortable and offers a great place to have as base for getting to know the island.

El MS Vila Nova está situado en el centro de Ponta Delgada, a 1 km del Convento da Esperança. El hotel tiene piscina al aire libre. The location was perfect, in walking distance from the airport, which can be felt througout the stay as you could frequently see airplanes landing or taking off but due to the soundproof windows this is not as bothersome (it was kind of cool actually). The swimming pool was nice! (we also had one plane fly directly above us as we swam) - there are like 10 flights a day and only during the day, being a city airport, there are no flights during the night - so you don't have to fear that a plane will wake you up mid-night. The swimming pool was rarely occupied (we were staying mid-may) the initial dip was a bit cold but it got better fast enough. The staff was super nice, especially the bartender we met on our arrival. The room was nice and clean, with water and capsule coffee being refreshed daily (a regular and a decaf per person per day), the breakfast buffet had a wide enough selection so we could mix up our breakfast across our stay (and always it was nice). All in all a perfect stay, I can definitely recommend this hotel. 😊 PS: the maracuja Kima is a must try! (available at the bar)

Largo Bispo Boutique Hostel, que cuenta con salón de uso común, terraza y vistas a la ciudad, se encuentra en Horta, a 6 min a pie de Praia da Conceição. The shared living room is beautifully decorated, spacious and impeccably clean. The room was bigger than average and super cosy with a private bathroom and all the amenities. The location is perfect, in the centre and two steps away from the promenade. The owner and the staff truly made my stay memorable: being friendly and attentive. I simply felt home.

Este hotel está situado sobre la bahía de Angra, a 150 metros del centro de Angra do Heroísmo, y ofrece habitaciones con aire acondicionado. The food was good, but need more variety, and most of the time when we got there the containers were empty, even clean plates was not there anymore.
