Me and my wife booked one of the apartments for 4 nights to hike and enjoy the nature. The reason why we chose this accomodation was all the great reviews, and I'm really happy to confirm that those are true. The hosts Vesna and Pavel are amazing, they offered to pick us up at the train station, dried our clothes after it had rained, lended us great bikes to get around in the area, helped us plan our hikes, helped us rent horses and gave ideas on which restaurants we could visit. After we booked the accomodation, we came in contact with Vesna via Whatsapp and could get some inspiration and help with the planning. It's super easy to get around in the area with bikes and there are amazing views everywhere. Before we arrived, we had a day in Venice first, then went by train to Gorizia, bus to Nova Goricia and then changed to train to Bohinja Bistrica which was quite easy. We're probably going back in a couple of years with our kids to hike togheter with them. You really can't find a better apartment with helpful and genuine hosts, if it's availible - book it!

Old Mill House está a 8 km de Aquapark & Wellness Bohinj y ofrece alojamiento con wifi gratis y parking privado gratis. Great location, close to hiking, Mercator and a great restaurant 100 feet away. The host showed us the working mill at the house and the following day we got to watch them grind corn. She also gave us a wonderful jar of homemade jelly and coffee. The apartment was very clean and had everything we needed except a toaster. The balcony had a great view of the Alps. She gave us great recommendations on visiting Bled e.g. where to park and what to do or not.
