Macura Resort is located only 2 km from the well-known White Sand Beach and 8.5 km from Kai Bae Beach in Ko Chang. Offering much relaxation, the cosy resort has an on-site bar and provides free WiFi in all areas. Our stay in Macura resort was great! The atmosphere in the resort with all of the plant and cute garden was lovely! The owners were so friendly and were always happy to help with anything. You can also rent a bike with them for a fair price. I would definitely recommend!

I also have to mention their kitchen - every dish was delicious and authentic regardless of whether Thai or Western, so there was no need to go out searching for outside restaurants. Free use of kayaks and paddle boards a welcome bonus. The resort bungalows are very comfortable and well kitted out. The staff can arrange bike or car hire, boat trips, snorkelling trips etc. great base to explore the island.

The resort is 3.5 km from Fisherman’s Village. It is a 1.5-hr drive from Trat Airport. The staff was very welcoming and friendly. The location has a stunning view, especially when you book one of the pool villas. The villa itself has everything you need and was very clean. Very good breakfast options to choose from. Scooter rental is available as well. We enjoyed every minute of our stay here.

During the stay, Watercolours provides a complimentary use of the canoes and kayaks to paddle up or down to the nearest beach - Khlong Prao Beach. I loved the resort the minute I walked in. The location is beautiful. It is a 5 minute kayak ride and a 5 minute walk to a beautiful long beach. The resort is on a river. It is so peaceful and near to town and many restaurants. The river was perfect to swim in with lovely views. Quiet deck with stunning views of the river. The room was amazing, big, well designed, private, and so comfortable. The resort was very peaceful, with the small gardens and nature surrounding the resort. The staff made me feel at home. They were so kind and genuine. The menu was limited as you would expect at a small resort. The quality of the food was excellent. It was OK for me.it was convenient if I wanted to eat the resort. There are many great local restaurants that you can walk to from the resort. A few of them were directly on the ocean. It was a great value for the price. It was so nice I changed my stay at another resort from two weeks to one week to spend another week at Water Colours. I rarely give a 10 for a review. I could not find one thing I did not like. When I visit Koh Chang, I will stay at Water Colours.

I always got great recommendations and the owners can arrange tours for you . I loved the pool and how quiet it was on the property . No noisy guests or crowds- everything was super relaxing . Their cat is also super adorable !

The location is perfect, right in the heart of Kai Bae, but it’s so peaceful and quiet you’d never know. The beautiful garden and inviting pool create a relaxing oasis. Breakfast was fantastic, with plenty of delicious options to start the day. Mause, the owner, is incredibly helpful and made our stay extra special. We were lucky to catch his Sunday night concert—he’s fantastic on the guitar (he even impressed the teenagers!). The little resident dog, cat, and chicken also added so much charm, and the staff were always super friendly and full of smiles.
