This is an amazing house, the photos don’t do it justice. The only probably was we didn’t have enough time to enjoy it properly.

I had hierdoor the appartementen my way to Santiago. It had a small store of dry pasta, tomato sauce, onion and garlic, and olive oil and a can of olives. There was a well equipped kitchen, so I coul make an evening meal for myself. The breakfast was included and consisted of bread, butter, milk and marmelade. I made coffee in a Bialetti coffee pot and had several cafes con leche. The owners were super friendly. The bathroom very large and everything spi-an-span (very clean). This is af great place for a quiet stay on the Camino.

Everything. The accommodation is located on a very quiet street. There were 7 large bedrooms- enough for our group of 11 and more. The living area and kitchen were large with enough room for us all to sit and chat about our first day on the Camino. Great area to the rest of the house to do some late evening sun bathing and early morning stretching.

A new independent house with a good quality building and finishing. The property has 4 bed rooms, well equipped kitchen, laundry and garage. So in fact it fits to accomodate a big extended family of up to 10 persons! Jose, the owner/manager is very friendly, reactive and helpful even if we communicate through WhatsAp only. He started giving us the guidance even weeks before we arrived in Portomarin. Will stay again there next time but surely with more member of our family (We felt sorry that such a big house is only occupied by 3 of us while the other Camino pilgrims had difficulty to find a lodge on that day of 01 May - Labour Day - where most hotels are fully booked). The selection of groceries left for us was perfect and so helpful as there are no stores in the immediate vicinity and we were walking the Camino.
