Location was perfect in centre of village within walking distance of all amenities. Everything you could possibly need was provided in the Gite. It is beautifully furnished throughout and the large enclosed garden has plenty of shade. Communication with the owner was excellent and we were made to feel very welcome. Highly recommended property.

Very good accomodation for the centre of Confolens. Communication from the owner was very good and friendly. There was secure storage for our bikes. The accomodation was very comfortable and suited our needs. Good kitchen space and bathroom. The garden area was excellent, private with good views. The tables and chairs in the garden are ideal for relaxing and dining.

This property is charming, very well equipped and close to lots of interesting places to visit. It is situated in a small, quiet hamlet, but close enough to drive to the boulangerie in Etagnac for fresh baguettes in the morning. The kitchen was full of every utensil you could possibly need - garlic press, veg peeler, assorted knives, cheese grater, wine bottle and can openers, etc. The accommodation has a bath in one of the two shower rooms and a dish washer in the kitchen in addition to the facilities currently listed on booking.com, which was a welcome surprise. There are also a total of three lavatories - ideal for larger families. The fans in the two bedrooms were really appreciated - in the ensuite master bedroom, which is enormous, this is remotely controlled and ceiling mounted. There is an electronic shutter which can be closed in front of the double patio doors onto the veranda/balcony from this bedroom. This lovely veranda is also accessible via the hallway and was great for evening alfresco dining out of direct sunlight, whilst the table and chairs downstairs in the small courtyard was perfect for breakfast being in the shade in the mornings, if it's very hot. There is an elegant dining room, as well as a kitchen diner if you prefer to eat indoors.

Boasting air-conditioned accommodation with a patio, Du haut des remparts is situated in Brigueuil. Both free WiFi and parking on-site are accessible at the holiday home free of charge.
