At the time of our stay they were building a descent size pool. It would be nice once finished. Private and quite area. Acess to motorways to go down south or Kandy side was easy from nearest town of Piliyandala.

Couldn’t have asked for a better stay at Green Retreat Hideout. From the moment we arrived, it just felt right — quiet, spotless, and full of warmth. The place has this calm, homely feel that’s hard to come by, and it made us feel relaxed straight away. The standout? Definitely the privacy. It’s tucked away on its own bit of land, so there’s no one around — just you, the fresh air, and the peace. That sense of space made the whole experience feel extra special. You’re close enough to everything, but it still feels like your own little world. Every detail was spot on — from the comfy setup to the thoughtful touches that showed real care. You can tell it’s been put together with love, not just for looks but for actual comfort. Honestly, it was one of those rare places that actually feels better than the photos. Perfect for couples who want to switch off, slow down, and just enjoy being somewhere that feels like home — only better. We left feeling recharged and already talking about when we can come back. Beautiful place with front garden and with lots of Bird's and Bird's sounds..and full privacy To simply "sit and enjoy the flora and fauna" in Sri Jayawardenepura Kotte Then go to this, about 50 years old parental Haus, with lots of special characters..go and discover.. More than all very trustworthy And very helpful couple When I am back in Colombo, i am sure I will be here again...

I had a great stay! The house is incredibly cozy, clean, and very modest – perfect for a relaxing visit. It’s conveniently located close to Cargills Food City, Keells Super, and many other facilities, making it super easy to get whatever you need. Honestly we loved the house to a point that we didn’t want to come back. Our personal favourite was the huge garden area near the pool. We were there all the time. The house is clean and very comfortable and ranaweera our caretaker really helped us with everything we needed. Overall it was perfect and we cannot wait to go back ❤️

The residence is very much worth every cent and the location is close to the main city area, hospitals and other shopping areas as well. However, the best part of our stay was the caretaker that came with the residence, Chandhra. Chandhra was helpful in every way possible, by getting us groceries and other goods that we needed on a day-to-day basis and also by communicating with the local taxi drivers and food delivery people when they needed directions to the residence. He kept the house spotless and was always at the door with a welcoming smile when we returned tired after a day of shopping, etc. He offered to cook us meals (local dishes) multiple times as well. Few people are as kind-hearted, caring, and honest as Chandhra and I am extremely grateful that he was there for me and my family. He made us all feel comfortable and safe as well.

    This is a BEAUTIFUL HOUSE. With nice expensive furniture and fittings this is a peaceful retreat. This house is so nice, that it demands that you look after it -- as you found it. Nice to hear the occasional monkey jumping among the trees, especially when jack fruit, fall to the ground.
