Guests can take in the ambience of the surroundings from an outdoor dining area or keep themselves warm by the fireplace on colder days. For added privacy, the accommodation features a private entrance. The view from Feldhasen was breathtaking. The house is quite new and everything is well-built and nicely decorated. We greatly enjoyed the outside table to watch sunsets and the horses that graze next door. The sauna was a treat and the beds were comfortable with great fluffy pillows. The location was quite central for reaching places in Salzkammergut and Gertrude showed us a wonderful hike right from the house up a mountain. She was very helpful and gave other good suggestions for things to do. It is a bit challenging to get to the house since Google maps tells you to take roads meant for small 4x4s and even the main road is single lane only, but we quickly got used to it. A very memorable and wonderful stay!
