My pod experience was amazing. The design of them is really well considered and thought out. And you really can't beat the views out onto the water. The communication was great, and I felt really well considered even though I realize I didn't interact with anyone to check in or out (but did eat at the Inn and used the shop for snacks). It was a really special place even with the rain, a delayed Ferry ride, and coming in the dark. I want to return and stay longer!

This little cabin is just perfect. The moment you step in it feels like home. Great view towards the mountains. It has all amenities you need, glasses, mugs, plates, pans etc. Libby just cleaned the place when we arrived, it was impeccable. Bed was comfortable, hot water was really hot.

Melfort Village is set in a lochside location, 24 km from Oban. Furnace is 23 km away. The units include a dining/seating area with a satellite flat-screen TV. It was increíble! The best place se stayed on our two week trip. Surrounded by Mountains, lake and sheep in the countryside. Beautiful views and superb housing. Very comfortable and full y equiped. Ossie at the fronta desk, was the best!

Around 13 miles from Oban, the luxurious Bonawe House Holiday Cottages offers apartment and cottage accomodation in the Scottish Highlands. Spotlessly clean, comfiest beds (best sleep I've ever had on vacation), very cozy accomodation with everything you could possibly need. Good wifi. The location is exceptional with killer views from the front garden, under an hour driving to Glen Coe hiking paths, some half-hour driving to Oban ferry to Mull for daytrips, and lovely walks right around Taynuilt (Riverside Walk much recommended, it's easy and very pleasant). Neighbours across the little road behind the property were also lovely and let us give the bottle to their orphaned lambs 🤩 Do not miss Kilchurn Castle nearby. The castle ruin is very cool and highland coos are just roaming around (no worries they are very chill) without hords of tourists!

Cologin’s chalets, lodges and private houses offer attractive self-catering accommodation in the Highlands, less than 3 miles from Oban on Scotland’s west coast. Great chalet, lovely host and the Barn Bar in walking distance was great.They served delicious food and the hostess was absolutely charming.

We especially liked the location of Harbour View as it looked right onto the Bay and we could watch everything happening out there from the two comfy armchairs positioned right in the big bay window upstairs. The house was spotlessly clean, the beds were comfortable and the showers were good. The outdoor spaces were great and we sat in the garden at the front one evening watching the ferries come and go. There is an information book which was helpful and the tourist information office is very close. Marzena and David had left a number of tasty things for us which was very welcome and there are supermarkets close by. The house has everything you need which is lovely when you’re travelling.
