Yet only a few minutes drive from the Ferry terminal at Tarbert and with a pleasant walk into the village from the cottage The cottage was cosy and very comfy for relaxing, with two large lounging areas, as well as a dining area, well stocked kitchen and large bedrooms and well stocked games cupboard

All the colours in the rooms are in tune with the surroundings. The house has everything you need, and is really comfortable. It's really easy to use.we didn't worry about having our dog with us. Easy to keep clean and tidy. Really dog friendly.

Beautifully renovated house, bedrooms, utility room and bathroom downstairs all with plenty of space and the main bedroom with fabulous view out to the bay. Upstairs the kitchen and living room area again with view using a window the width of the room to maximise the effect and light. Velux roof windows too brought in lots of light. Simple stylish furnishings suited it perfectly. Kitchen well equipped with freezer downstairs in utility room, perfect for not disturbing the silence you experience when staying here. Bathroom has large shower cabinet with an excellent shower fitted. Modern heating too, electric thermostat radiators throughout, very cosy at night and in the morning. The enjoyment is a credit to the housekeeper who presented the house immaculately clean and as new on arrival. Location is superb, less than half mile from Tarbert and down a track from the road there is no sound of cars passing and the house is private with a great view over Urgha bay,its idyllic. Excellent communication too from the owner who offers his number should you have any issues. We had a wonderful five nights in Harris and I cannot recommend this house enough, it’s wonderful.

Braemore Chalet is gelegen in Tarbert. Er is gratis WiFi in de hele accommodatie en privéparkeren op het terrein. This is a lovely little 1 bedroom cottage. We thought we would have 2 bedrooms but instead had a hide a bed in the living room. There was a communication issue and we did not have bedding for the hide a bed though that was remedied.....The kitchen was great and there was a washer, though no drier. The wood burning stove was a delight as we had a very rainy, cold windy night and it warmed the house quickly. The owner has a 2 bedroom cottage across the street and we would book that next time. This cottage is perfect for a couple, not great for two friends traveling together.
