Auchendennan FarmSelf Catering Cottages offers a beautiful setting in Arden, a short walk from the shores of Loch Lomond and only 2 miles from Balloch. Erg rustig. De ruimte was heel gezellig. Alles was aanwezig en het was erg schoon.

Three Bedroom House ligt in Edinburgh, op 5,2 km van University of Edinburgh en 5,7 km van Royal Mile, en biedt accommodatie met voorzieningen zoals gratis WiFi en een flatscreen-tv. Had everything we needed for our stay. Our host Mandy was very attentive and followed up to make sure we were ok. Mandy provided lots of breakfast foods which pleasantly surprised us. We were a 5 minute walk from the bus, which goes downtown.

I'm generally not a person that stays in small huts like this, but I was positively surprised by this one. It isn't the most spaceous, but it was great for the two days we stayed there, and if you're a more wilderness/camping kind of person, I definitely recommend it. The surroundings were lovely woods with some nice walking paths, that especially at night provided some great opportunities for star watching, and the hut itself has a nice little kitchen with everything you need (except maybe an oven, but if you do it right, you can definitely do without that), and a nice and clean shower, the beds were also very comfortable. Every hut also has a fire place outside, and the owners provide firewood upon request, if there is no fire ban at the moment, which can happen if it becomes too dry. I can definitely recommend this if you are looking fora little bit more adventurous stay!

The view from the pod on Loch Tay is amazing. The access to the shore via the small path. Location in nature but a short distance from Killin (coop, cafes etc).

Riverview Cottage bevindt zich in Halkirk, op 29 km van Sinclair's Bay en 32 km van kasteeltuinen van Mey, en biedt uitzicht op de tuin. Good location , It had plenty of space, and comfortable beds.

Auld Tom's Rest ligt op 18 minuten lopen van East Sands Beach van St. Andrews en 1,5 km van St. Andrews University, en is voorzien van gratis WiFi en een tuin. Had a fantastic stay at Auld Tom's May 13th-19th. The house was great and and spotless inside. Lovely warm feel to it and decorated to a high standard. Location was excellent and only a few minutes into St Andrews Town by car, but within easy walking distance. As well as the bus stop right outside the property. Ticked my bucket list playing golf at St Andrews and lots to do for the family as well. Garry met us upon arrival and couldn't ask for a better host. Kept in contact during our stay to make sure we had everything we needed. Not a bad word to say about our stay and booking again for next year. Thank you Garry!!!

Do not hesitate to book this property for your vacation on Skye. We had some great few days that in fact proved to be all too short. The owner (Grace) clearly has a deep interest in interior design and have let her creativity loose in this property. Look around and you will find lots of funny little details. Grace was very responsive to any request or question. When arriving the property appeared 100% clean, recently designed with high quality materials, artefacts, and furniture easily accommodating 6 people. The property has two separate rentals, but they are well-divided and you will experience full privacy in your part. The location is stunning along Loch Bay with a 10-15 min drive along a very scenic road to get to the house. This may sound long, but you will experience the difference of nature’s colours and beauty every time you pass. Distances are long on Skye but you have the Quiraing, the Fairy Pools and the Fairy Glen within driving distance – all must-see’s for first time visitors to Skye. For those with an interest in gastronomy and self-catering the presence of an AGA stove will impress (for those not – don’t worry, there is also a normal ceramic stove in the kitchen). There is a small garden with outdoor seating and herbs for free use. Before our arrival Grace had arranged the sourcing of ultra-fresh and beautiful seafood from Just-Hooked in Portree, including lobsters, langoustines and scallops. For those wanting high-end restaurant experiences Michelin-starred Lock Bay is within a short drive or 30-40 min walk, and The Three Chimneys and Edinbane Lodge are within driving distance. Book weeks or months in advance if you want to go to these restaurants.
