The accommodation is close to tbe sassi, restaurants and bars. The apartment itself is comfortable, very clean and beautiful. There is free parking at the front if available, otherwise there is a free parking lot 300 metres down the road. The road itself is not too busy and easy to navigate by car.

We had a wonderful stay in this authentic cave house. Inside it stays pleasantly cool even in July, and the large bed was very comfortable. The owner, Roberto, is extremely helpful and hospitable — he even walked with us to the sandwich shop to make sure we got the best sandwiches. The location is fantastic, with everything nearby, and the parking was very convenient. Highly recommended!

After 3 weeks of traveling thru southern italy, we booked this apartment, and it didn't disappoint . IT was by far the best stay of our entire trip!!..Beautiful apartment, super well equipped, immaculately clean, beautiful bathroom.. Great working Wi-Fi. nice view of the countryside from the balcony ..Nice terrace in front with outdoor furniture.. A washing machine was available at no extra cost..Secure parking inside property accessible with remote control.. Electric shutters on windows .The fridge was stocked with water and fruit juices , jams, and yogurts for breakfast at your own leisure in the apartment.. The espresso machine is there too with pods and milk . Croissants and various little cookies for breakfast also .It is all set up if you want to cook and well equipped..It's about 6 kms ( about 8 min) from the sights in Matera ,we chose not to stay in the city and didn't regret it..Accessing the sights in Matera from here is very easy , there are Parking structures available all around and very close just a couple of blocks away... THE host are gracious and obviously take great pride in their business, and it shows .We highly recommend this B&B when visiting this area .Thank you, Giusy and husband, for making this an exceptional 2 nights stay..

Lo scorcio sul Barisano is gelegen in Matera, op 5 minuten lopen van Palombaro Lungo en 800 meter van Matera Cathedral, en biedt accommodatie met voorzieningen zoals gratis WiFi en een flatscreen-tv. Toplocatie aan de ingang van de Sassi Barisano, vlakbij Chiesa Sant’Agostino en belvedere. We parkeerden in parkeergarage Cesare Firrao op slechts 5 minuten wandelen. De kamer was modern, ruim, kraaknet en uitstekend uitgerust, met een zalige regendouche. Ook het eenvoudige ontbijt (biscuit, voorverpakte zoete broodjes, sapjes, nutella en confituur) en de espressomachine (voldoende cups) waren prima, al jammer dat er geen melkjes voorzien waren. Leuk extraatje was een brood en focaccia als welkomstgeschenk. De communicatie met de gastheer verliep erg vlot, al was er geen persoonlijk contact. Alles was goed (en modern) doordacht, zelfs een ontluchter waardoor er geen storende tufsteengeur was.

L'angolo di Cinzia ligt op 1,8 km van Palombaro Lungo en 2,3 km van Matera Cathedral, en heeft gratis WiFi en een terras. Prima geslapen voor 1 nachtje. We kwamen pas eind van de middag en mochten de volgende dag nog de hele dag van de gratis parkeerplek voor het appartement gebruik maken

Sui Lecci heeft uitzicht op de stad, en biedt accommodatie met een balkon en een waterkoker, op een paar minuten lopen van Palombaro Lungo. Loved absolutely everything! 10/10 Beautiful apartment! Photos don’t do it justice. Spacious, modern, very clean, beautifully presented, has everything you require plus more, centrally located, walkable to all sights and eateries. The host Bruna is amazing, she’s so lovely!!! She went above and beyond with communication, suggestions for restaurants and activities. One of the best apartments I’ve stayed in, in my 4 weeks in Italy. Highly recommend this apartment! You’ll love it!

CASA VACANZE BB 164-166 bevindt zich in Matera, in de buurt van Casa Grotta nei Sassi, MUSMA Museum en Tramontano Castle, en biedt gratis WiFi. Every thing and each detail. The cave style of Sassi of Matera, provided an unforgettable experience and outstanding moments. The place attendant was caring, quite responsive, attentive and customer caring. In fact, this particular Hotel’s has made our stay of high standards. We loved the unique stone structure and setup, in integration with other nicely hand crafted decoration and furnishings of the room, which were in tune with the City’s rich culture, Matera is well known for. To my knowledge; the nearby shop sells some of those art pieces, which are handcrafted by the hotel’s attendant. I bought many of those great artworks. Although it’s the first time, this place will always be our first choice of preference whenever repeating the visit to Sassi.
