It's easy to find, the host met us, showed us to place to park our car, explained everything and even recommended a really great restaurant to go to. Honestly, this is how it should be done.

Beautiful modern-style accommodation tucked away in old Takayama - we arrived at IORI Stay after a lot of continuous travel so it was a perfect place to slow down for a couple of days, relax and take in the beautiful historic center of Takayama. Staff were lovely and helpful, the breakfast bento boxes were delicious, and they accommodated us as vegetarians - the accommodation had enough luxury but was also minimalist in a way that made the whole experience feel charming and more like home than a hotel.
