The house itself is very cozy and comfortable. I was working remotely in the living room with aircon and a big table. Almost everything is within walking distance and very quiet at night. We were also entertained several times a day by the elephants being fed and bathed by excited tourists! The landscape was simply magical from dawn to dusk, from the heavy morning mist to the star filled skies at night. The sense of peace and tranquility, unfortunately broken by Mr Pun blaring loud Lao music over 2 days of the New Year, and relaxed pace of life in Shangri-Lao will stay with us for a long time - until we return! We were very well looked after by Fong, her team plus all the guys in the resort - a big thank you!
