Communication with the host was flawless. Even before our arrival, we received detailed information about where to shop, store hours, how to access the property — everything was perfectly organized. One of the highlights of our stay was the boat trip with the owner. He took us out on the sea, we went fishing together, and he even prepared a delicious meal for us right on the boat. He also recommended local places to eat — we ended up having the best fish soup in all of Tromsø. We wholeheartedly recommend this place. If you’re planning a trip to Tromsø, skip staying in the city. Choose Tromvik instead — just like we did — and experience the stunning views, the peaceful atmosphere, and the comfort this place has to offer.

This villa offers air-conditioned accommodation with a balcony. The property is non-smoking and is set 25 km from Tromsø City Hall. Very unique experience to stay in this former ferry boat. You have everything you need inside, very comfortable and relaxing. Great view from the boat to the fjords too. Espen also went extra miles to help us with some groceries as most supermarkets were closed on Sun when we arrived. Would definitely come back if there’s a chance.

It was the perfect location for relaxing and watching the northern lights! We saw them all three nights we were there which was magical. Katil met us at check in and helped carry our bags which was very welcomed. He provided great tips for things to do in the area and sent through links. The house itself is fantastic and exactly what we wanted. It’s small, but was good for the 3 of us. It has 4 rooms but two are very small, so I wouldn’t recommend a large family stay there and expect to not be on top of each other. The kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans, utensils, crockery etc, only thing missing was a toaster (maybe I just couldn’t find it!!), but it was all good! Beds were great and we were super appreciative of the cot and high chair for our daughter! Makes life a lot easier! Thanks so much for having us! I’d 100% stay again, and hopefully we make it back to Tromso so we can!

The house was spacious, very clean, and felt like a home <3 the property is on the water — it’s very beautiful and serene. There was a sauna on-site that we used for an extra fee. It was awesome!
