Renate and her husband are great hosts and it was super easy to communicate with them. The house is really good. It appears to have been refurbished (as least parts of it) but it is still a cosy traditional norwegian cottage by the mountains. The view from the house is incredible with the fjords. And if you're looking for a place to spot northern lights, this is the place to be. As it is outside of town (~25min by car), there are not many lights in the surrounding, so we could literally see the northern lights from the windows, from the balcony, and if you want a spot that is 100% dark, its just walking west for five minutes. I strongly recommend this place!

We had a wonderful stay in this cozy house located in a beautiful and peaceful area, just about 40 minutes’ drive from Tromsø. The view from the house is simply breathtaking and makes the stay truly unforgettable. The house is very well equipped and comfortable. On the first floor, there is a kitchen with everything you might need, a spacious living room with a fireplace, and an additional lounge area perfect for relaxing. There is also a toilet with a sink on the ground floor. Upstairs, you will find a large bathroom with a toilet, shower, washing machine, and dryer. The bedrooms are well arranged: one with a double bed, another with three single beds, and the third with four single beds. Each room had a full set of towels, warm blankets, comfortable pillows, and mattresses, which made our stay very cozy. The house is heated with electric heaters that can be adjusted easily, so the temperature was always comfortable. We really enjoyed our time here - it felt like a perfect combination of comfort and nature. Communication with the host was smooth and pleasant, making everything even better. Highly recommended!

Fantastic view - quiet and relaxing by the sea heeft uitzicht op de bergen, en biedt accommodatie met een balkon en een koffiezetapparaat, op 48 km van University of Tromsø. Anne Grete and Stainer are the best hosts we ever had ! they are so helpful, so friendly, so kind ! and their house is SO AMAZING !!!! you cannot believe your eyes when you arrive in the living room with the view on the sea ! And it is very confortable, with everything you need for daily life, like if you were in your home. The area is simply gorgeous : a small fisherman port surrounded by mountains and lakes easy to walk through ! one of the most astounding place in the world we have seen (and we travel a lot). Of course, you have to love remote places and enjoy being away from tourists, as they don't come that far in the wilderness !!! Thank a lot to our marvelous hosts ! we will come back !!!

Beautiful, spacious, well-appointed home located on a scenic fjord only 1/2 hour from the airport. Espen and family were exceptional hosts. Excellent views from all the large windows. The kitchen is the best most complete and modern kitchen I have ever been in with every device and appliance imaginable. My friends all raved about how this adventure exceeded their expectations. Even the weather cooperated.

Kvaløya Lodge beschikt over uitzicht op de bergen, en biedt accommodatie met een tuin en een balkon, op 22 km van University of Tromsø. Alles! 10 +++! Wat een fijn, warm en gezellig huis. Alles is aanwezig wat je ook maar kan bedenken. Maar...... Niet alleen het huis maar zeker ook een 10+++ voor de eigenaar, zo spontaan en vriendelijk. Veel goede tips waar we ook zoveel mogelijk van hebben gedaan. Komen hier zeker terug!! En.....noorderlicht twee avonden vanaf het balkon. Dus zoals de eigenaar al aangeeft, boek geen tour! Als het er is is het zeker vanaf hier goed te zien🙃.

Charming place in Tromsø by the sea. Ligt in Håkøybotn, op 17 km van Tromsø City Hall en 18 km van The Polar Museum, en biedt een tuin en uitzicht op de stad. Leuk gezellig en cozy huis. Alles wat je nodig hebt is aanwezig om lekker te onthaasten en te genieten van de natuur.
