Camp Caroli Mini lodge es un alojamiento con vistas al lago que se encuentra en Kiruna, a 21 km de Kiruna Bus Station y a 21 km de Esrange Space Center. The property matches the description really well. It was a bit larger than expected actually and super comfortable beds, duvets, sheets, plenty of soft pillows. Ultra clean. BUT… the really huge quality of this place is its uniqueness! Located in a very quite, secluded place at the very end of a winding road towards a stunning lake, the mini-lodge opens up as a one-of-a-kind oasis of calmness and beauty. You can really see the lake from your seat or bed and - whether permitting - see the Northern light in its fullest glory as ever moving curtains of light above the lake against the background of mountains. The only sounds are the wind whispering through the trees, the water ebbing and flooding softly against the shore and some occasional fish grasping your attention as are plenty of water birds. I found the sauna also a big bonus, again because of its location, cleanliness and authenticity: wooden fire flickering - no electrical stove :-)
