Villas in Sodermanland

So quiet. Mariefred is a very nice little village and this hotel is in the middle of it. 5 minutes walk to the castle, 1 minute to a grocery store, book store etc and cafes. The room was clean and cozy with windows that could be opened. I took my morning smoke 50 steps away, on a bench looking out over the water and the castle, (attached pic)

Large comfortble room and excellent breakfast The hotel which is an old wellkept country mansion is beautifully situated in a nicely kept park

Clean and generally quiet. Restaurant good, but not great. Castle and village very nice. Good place to spend a day.

Very convenient location for hiking the Sörmlandsleden. Apartment located in a very nice old villa, very calm and private setting. Apartment had everything we needed to cook some breakfast and a fridge to store our picnic food and drinks. Wonderful bakery next door with magnificent bread and pastries. Landlady very friendly and welcoming.
