Teri is a wonderful host and gave us great recommendations. We loved the living space decorated with a lot of eye to detail and some reminders to Ghana. We got a little welcome snack and the kitchen was really well equipped. We were able to swim in their pool with a lovely sundown view and used to braai for dinner.

Loved being able to relax and recharge at this awesome property while being in the Karoo desert. The house was amazing with everything I needed, from the kitchen to the bathroom and the large living area. The little touches all make a difference to the feel of the place - the large spacious lounge, the beautiful wooden counter tops in the kitchen and the stone floor in the bathroom shower - loved it. In particular I loved the skylight that allowed me to lie in bed and see the stars at the same time! The air feels so clear there. Added bonus was having the dam in front of the house with a small water view, and having the remnants of the old railway station across the road gave me sense of history of the area.

The cottage for guests was very clean and warmly decorated with stunning views. The pool is like in the pictures, an idyll. A highlight was definitely the food including homemade pizza and all home grown. We did the Cross Cape Route including the Swartberg Pass by bicycle for which the accommodation was well located on the way.

We loved everything about the place. The lovely big kitchen that has all the equipment you will need. The rooms was spacious with beautiful bathrooms, liked the shower in the main bedroom the most. Children loved that there was wifi and the pool mostly. Liked that is was close to all the necessary shops needed.

Lavendale on Laing, que tiene vistas a la montaña, ofrece alojamiento con terraza y patio a unos 45 km de Drostdy Museum. To be honest, we had fairly low expectations of the property. However, it was perfect for us - both the house and its huge garden were lovely.
