You open the window and you are right on the Lake, the beach is at few steps from the door, there are numerous restaurants, in the very cute village or Feriolo which is a great place to stay when you want to spend a holidays at the Lake Maggiore. We also enjoyed the breakfast of fresh pastries and other European fare. Natalino, who co-owns this historic family villa with his brother, was such an interesting person who seemed to take delight in sharing with me (in English) the history of the Villa pre–WW I, the tragic role it played in WW ll, and how his family eventually became the owners of it. The view from the balcony and the garden to the Boromeo islands was really beautiful! It has private parking place in front if the building. The staff was really kind and helpful with all the questions of the guests. Surely I would come back again.
