Pool, sauna, jacuzzi etc is incredible for what you pay per night. This place is an amazing value for money if you have spent a few days hiking in the fells and need a final night resting.

Nothing not to like during our stay. Location for station and shopping and transport perfect. Exceptionally clean. Cleaning staff to be commended. Did not have time or energy to use the pool/gym. I was actually very poorly over the time of our stay, but the views from the window and the comfortable bed were appreciated. Other half very much enjoyed the breakfast quality and array of options. Food available in the bar was tasty, well made and enjoyable. Not over priced. Would like to return when I am fully recovered and would recommend to others given it is a three star rating. Staff we encountered were all very nice. Thank you

Kendal is sometimes an overlooked gem of a town, with many interesting places to visit with historic interest & a hive of culture.
We especially enjoyed the ease of getting to the Brewery Arts Centre for a concert & all on offer there.
Being into 'real ale', the Factory, was a valuable find, near to the river. (Nice pizza on a Friday evening too!) A haven for dog owners!
We visited the Art Gallery, had coffee/tea there & were spoiled for choice at the cakes for sale. Friendly staff there & an very interesting selection of modern art, photography & traditional art.
Recommend a walk up to the castle for a wonderful vista of the area.
Great connections by bus to the southern lakes & western lake district too.

The town of Kendal is great and this flat is well located to access the town centre etc.
I was disappointed with my accommodation as a very poorly equipped kitchen, poor water pressure in kitchen sink, tacky decor and bizarre unintelligible smart door handles.

Kendal has lots to offer visitors and is an ideal place to stay, away from the crowds in the central Lakes. Lots of walking accessible by good public transport, avoids taking the car and trying to find somewhere to park. Plenty of shops and places to eat, especially Corner 124 where you can enjoy an excellent meal.
We were looking for somewhere modern, yet cosy for our family of 4 for the period in between Christmas and the New Year and this property was great! Super modern, clean and the little touch's such as complimentary Kendal Mint Cake in each room along with other complimentary items made it that extra special. This is a great location for visiting Lake Windermere and other surrounding areas which are all equally as beautiful. Also lots of restaurants/pubs around in short walking distance which is great. Would highly recommend.
My stay in Days Inn was very comfortable and the hotel was very clean. Staffs were so helpful and friendly. Room was well maintained. All needed stuffs was in place and staffs were there to help all the time. Especially, One of the staff (Joe) was very good and professional, also explained everything perfectly for our comfortable stay in Days Inn. Will definitely choose Days Inn if I'm visiting Kendal again.... 😃♥️.... Thank you so much for the all the tema members
Beautiful hotel with lots of character, really comfy and cosy room decor with lots of small touches. Amazing views of the fields and mountains, perfect location for Windemere and Kendal. Lovely bar and breakfast area with balcony overlooking the views, and a serve yourself type bar. The bed was large and soft, smart TV with Netflix etc, rooms quiet and dark. Full English breakfast was quick and well cooked. Overall a really peaceful stay.
Alex, the host, went above and beyond to ensure we had a pleasant stay. The cosy cottage lived up to it name. It is a rustic cottage with many of the comforts of home. It is the perfect location to walk to Kendal restaurants, bars and shops. If you prefer to dine in, there is a supermarket in front of the cottage. Never has needing to something at the market move convenient. Thank you for such a wonderful stay!
The location and facilities were great, the decor is beautiful the bathroom was absolutely divine. Many a night during my weeks stay was spent in the slipper roll top bath. The welcome bottle of wine and biscuits was most appreciated after 7hours of travelling.
The 555 bus to Lancaster or Kendal is literally 1min walk.
There is also a very well stocked corner shop and you are 10min walk into town.
Location is good for central Kendal .A mere 5 minute walk on to the high Street. Our room at "The Riverside "was really nice.Quite large and a view of the river which was nice and relaxing. We opted not to have breakfast as we were meeting with friends staying elsewhere in Kendal and decided to go to a cafe ,rather than have breakfast at the hotel. Also good parking at the hotel.
The hotel is in a traditional beautiful local style house, located in a convenient place, just outside the town of Kendal, 20 minutes drive from Windermere, parking spaces are sufficient, the decoration inside is very pretty, the landscape surrounding is idyllic and picturesque, with good restaurant and bar inside, and the pricing is rather reasonable.
Located outskirts of town centre. Nice leisurely walk into town about 20 minutes. Food was delicious and well presented. Staff were excellent they made us feel very welcome and nothing was a problem. They couldn’t do enough for us. Hotel was spotless with sanitiser points throughout hotel. Would definitely recommend this hotel.
Lovely hotel, staff were very friendly and lovely. The breakfast was good and evening meal excellent very taste. I would definitely recommend to friends and family and would visit again.
Pool/spa very good
Location : good, straight off the motorway and about a 20mins walk into Kendal.
Super clean and tidy, it has everything you need. Beds are very comfortable, bathroom has nice shower with good water pressure. It’s located next to Kendal in a nice quiet area, at a short drive from the Lakes. Sara was always quick and helpful for any request, great communication.
Great hosts in a great location, Kendal has its charms and so close to the lakes. The lodge has everything you need and a great handbook too. Well worth the price, will definitely be returning when we revisit the area.
The room was a good size and the shower was good. Check in and check out was simple enough. A no frills hotel which had everything i needed for one night passing through to break up a long journey.
