Fabulous location with superb views across Kendal . The staff were very friendly and helpful. We had a garden view room which was lovely and very quiet. The evening meal and breakfast was very tasty and lovely. We will be returning!!

The pool and spa area is beautiful, as is the whole of the downstairs area. The bedrooms are dated and looked like mouldy sealant around the windows, but the bathroom looked newly renovated. Evening meal was expensive for the quality of the ingredients used we thought too.

Perfect location, a few minutes from the town centre and the station and 10 min from the car rental. Room was spacious and clean and with a nice view of the river. Check in and check out was very quick. Impressive building from outside.

We need a good place to stay that was quiet and clean, we had an early start for the Fred Whitton Challenge so a good nights sleep was a must. Room was spotless and bed very comfortable. Evening meal on Saturday was very good, will use again.

Nothing to fault. Excellent stay, cleanliness, ambiance, comfort, essentials supply’s all upto mark. The reception team were very attentive, friendly and pleasant. The restaurant was downstairs and has excellent food. Although the dining was full on Friday night, the team went over and beyond to accommodate us which I very much appreciated. We were here for the hike (Scafell pike) and to see the surroundings. The location of stay was perfect. Kendal is beautiful. I loved my stay and would definitely recommend. Would love to come back …!
