What a beautiful setting - breathtaking views and sunsets, lovely staff, incredible meals, everything you need in the room too. We’ll definitely be back! Perfect place to explore the coast! We loved the hike along the coast path to Tintagel and back in time for a delicious lunch at Port William - what a treat!

Tintagel is a lovely village it has some real quaint shops and the castle beach is well worth a visit although found the entry fee to the castle a bit steep so we didn’t do that the tide was out for a visit to Merlin’s cave but be prepared for steep steps 😂 the pasty shop was lovely too and all the tea shops etc looked amazing happy travels 🥰🥰

I am trying to review Fisherman’s cottage-which was great except that it didn’t state anywhere in it that it was a studio flat. It said it had one bedroom but there is no door to separate it from the rest of the cottage so u are essentially sleeping in the same room as a fridge & freezer gurgling all night -and if u have a dog u have to sleep in the same room as it unless u shut it in the bathroom. I just thought that it was important to make this point somewhere as nowhere seemed to let me review the cottage properly- just gave me a set of tick box questions. As I said it is a lovely cottage unless u mind sleeping with ur dog and a fridge and freezer in the same room-which I did! As for Tintagel-been coming here for years and is as lovely as ever!

Definitely must visit: Tintagel Castle.
Definitely must visit: Tintagel Castle.
The views are stunning. It was challenging to find Merlin’s face, but it was fun when we finally found it:). Definitely recommend, don’t leave the place before finding the face on the rocks.
The Arthur’s arm pub is a great place to eat. Try the Cream Tea, it’s homemade and absolutely delicious 😋
Booked this hostel last minute as somewhere to stay while exploring Cornwall. Dolphins exceeded our expectations, the place is located in the charming centre of Tintagel which offers a lovely array of pubs, shops near the castle and cave
The hostel itself was very clean, warm and cosy. The staff were friendly and welcoming, John paid for us to watch the Anthony Joshua fight in the communal area which made for a great Saturday night
Fabulous hostel would recommend and visit again
Downside? The stay was too short.
Everything was perfect, from pre check-in communication. I asked if I could store my luggage before check-in and Andra and Marcus offered me an early check in with room upgrade!
The room was very clean, nice and cosy, with an amazing countryside view. Breakfast was great as well!
I also loved the location, 5 minute walk from the town centre and from the entrance to Tintagel Castle. I will book again next time I'm in Cornwall.
The hotel accommodations are wonderfully comfortable with great attention to detail. Our room was impeccably clean, practical and functional. However, it is the friendly and highly competent staff that make this property and its pub a true stand out in the area. Make sure you take in an evening meal of superb local fare and then enjoy a magnificent English breakfast the following morning. Awesome!
Breakfast was good, full english available, with toast. Also cereals and yogurts.
Location was great, reason for our trip was to visit Tintagel Castle, and The Wootons is at the top of the pathway down to the castle, with Landrover stop off point, pick up and return for the castle, right by the hotel.
The Old Post Office is also just a few yards up into the village.
The room was very clean and comfortable with a sea view looking out towards the Castle Hotel on the Headland at Tintagel. Breakfast was more than adequate with juice, tea or coffee, choice of cereals, yogurts, fruit and continental style variations. Cooked breakfast, omelette or eggs benedict/royale followed by tea and jam/marmalade. It was very good.
The apartment is perfect for a group of up to 6 people. It has everything you need to make it a home from home. The owner also runs the giftshop downstairs so was on hand for any queries. Located on the main street, there's easy access down to Tintagel Castle and lots of options for food and drink. Would definitely come back here again.
We loved our stay at Tintagel Arms Hotel, all staff were very welcoming and attentive. The food was exceptionally good and the room although small was perfect for us ❤ will happily stay there again not just because it was good value but the best experience overall. Thank you to Dawn and the rest of the staff at Tintagel Arms Hotel x
The location of the property was perfect, it’s in the center of Tintagel. Cleanliness is outstanding as well as the service at breakfast which is made to your order and time. Bruce was such a lovely host and couldn’t do enough for us. Added bonus that he allows well behaved dogs. We will definitely revisit
Breakfast was great - really organised given Covid rules. Location was perfect - right in the centre of Tintagel, and ideal if visiting the castle. Bathroom was great - really modern. Bedroom was fine except the bed.
I nice place to stay, close to Tintagel castle and surrounds. Staff were very nice, food was great! Good off street car parking facilities. Good service and a recommended place to stay if you are in the area.
Fantastic location, beautiful property, right in the centre of Tintagel. Close to a lot of areas of Cornwall. Nice walks along the coast and of course the falls and the castle all within half hours walk.
The hosts are really nice and kind. The room is cozy. It'a about a 10 minute walk to the Tintagel castle, which is perfect. We enjoyed the breakfast. The view out of the window is also a plus.
This is the best location in Tintagel, with walking distance to the Castle ruins.
The staff were friendly and helpful , and the room comfortable and very clean.
I recommend this hotel.
The location and the staff were really friendly and welcoming.
It's a good place to stay if you're traveling solo and it's close to all touristic attractions in Tintagel.
