Lovely little coastal town with parking and good traditional Pubs like Kelly’s Bar well worth a visit you can leave the car behind and hop on the train into Cork it’s only a short trip away. Then you can shop away to your hearts content. I imagine that is a great option for the Cruise ship passengers when they visit. Oh and I don’t want to forget the restaurants like the Quays or the Titanic who look after all your needs.

Local businesses lacked the customer service mentality that seems prevalent throughout Ireland. Very few dining options, most of them full. Cobh is a small town easily covered in an afternoon, and nothing about the local populace invites much engagement. It was a drab experience overall.

Cobh is delightful, quite small but with many things to do mainly concerned with history of the town. It is associated with the Titanic, but amazingly the infrastructure for the big liners is still there: the White Star Line and Cunard offices are still there as is the train station which brought so many travellers to the town. There are plenty of good restaurants in the town and the town is very easy to get around. The only problem is the hilliness of the town. Also Cork city is very close by.

A picturesque little spot set on a steep hill. Beautiful views, fantastic cathedral, interesting Titanic Experience museum. Trips out to Spike Island although we didn’t have time to visit. Easy distance for Cork City and Blarney Castle which are both recommended.

Absolutely pleasure and unforgettable experience staying in this fabulous Victorian mansion. The spacious en-suite has an amazing view of Cobh harbour and is super clean. Quick and sufficient hot water in the bathroom. The hosts are incredibly friendly and helpful, they helped us book a nice dinner and gave nice recommendations for things to do in town. Delicious breakfast with plenty of options and fresh juice, fruits and yogurt. This is so far my most pleasant stay in Ireland also world widely, would definitely recommend!!

Had a lovely stay at the hotel for 2 nights this week. The Hotel was very nicely decorated and clean. Ate in the restaurant one night and the food was good too. Nice rooftop beer garden located on the 3rd floor was nice to have when the weather was good and there were no Tables outside the front door. Really good central location in Cobh with lots to see and do around the town and surrounding area. Staff were very friendly when in contact with them. I would stay again if visiting Cobh.

Fabulous location and welcoming staff. View from out room and the dinning area was exceptional. Dinner was delicious, the breakfast was ok but not as good as dinner. Despite this we would still stay again and recommend to family or friends visiting Cobh. We would just request a room without this issue next time. We really enjoyed the titanic experience and our visit to Spike Island which were less than 5 minute walk from hotel.

We had both a continental and full breakfast choice. The continental offerings were more than adequate; smoked fish, meats, cheese, fruit, cereal. My wife had eggs which were cooked to order. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The location is a few minutes from downtown Cobh. The property is tightly packed with narrow views of the harbor. The BB is in a converted rectory which still shows in various rooms.

At first we didn’t really prepare for being part of someone else’s home, and to be treated so well. The hosts are fantastic, made us feel very very welcome, a totally different and wonderful experience from any other b+b or hotel we have stayed in Ireland. View of the bay was wonderful, and the breakfast (with surprise twist) was also wonderful.

Delicious breakfast menu - accompanied by freshly baked scones and brown bread . Lovely house in quiet area - ideal location for exploring Cobh and other towns in South Cork. Enjoyed the 15 min quayside walk into the historic port centre each day. Regular short commute by train available Cobh to Cork City daily. .

The beautifully decorated SeaView Apartment Suite is in a great location to enjoy the area of Cobh. Our host Bernadette met us there to let us in and gave us a tour of the apartment before handing over the keys. The kitchen was generously stocked with fruit, coffee, tea and biscuits to get us started.
