Very clean - lovely room. Very quiet - just out of town but only a 5 minute walk down the hill. Easy to walk to town, Villa d’Este, Gregoriana, etc. Very helpful staff - great place!
Featuring an indoor swimming pool, Residenze Gregoriane offers luxury suites decorated in a classic style. Located along the river, these suites provide a central but quiet location in Tivoli.

Small boutique hotel. Only four rooms. Very attentive staff who were able to arrange bookings at the Restaurant Sibila. Nice breakfast.

Fantastic spot!! Really great location. Tivoli isn't too big, but this apartment is both right in town but quiet, too. The roof terrace was SO pretty!
Great access to town and countryside. Tivoli has lots of character and amazing views, plenty of places to eat and shop, and to immerse yourself in true Italian culture.
I'd recommend the Villa d'Este and Villa Adriana (Hadrian's Villa), both of which can be done in one day, although allow more time for the latter, and bring a packed lunch as there are no catering facilities.

Tivoli is a great town outside of Rome.
Tivoli is a great town outside of Rome. If you are looking for old character, charm, and beautiful gardens, you have found your spot. Food was great at all locations. I would recommend spending a lot of time Villa di Este.

The park of Villa Gregoriana has stunning views of the waterfalls and is a must natural attraction when visiting Tivoli.
Villa D'Este is a magnificent example of the Italia Villas of the Renaissance, with its beautiful gardens and many fountains.
These two locations and the overall historical city area are easily reachable all within walking distance. The historic downtown also offer many eating alternatives.
Villa Adriana is one of the most majestic archeological sites of the Roman Empire, truly impressive in its scale and content.
Plan for a three nights stay in order to have two full days to visit the city.

Wonderful area to explore and use as a base to visit Rome.
Wonderful area to explore and use as a base to visit Rome. Fly into Ciampino. Public transport and parking is good. Prepare to walk up hill on occasions in town. Villa d'este well worth a visit BUT beware of payment on entry. (See Tip) Driving can be either exciting or challenging. Make sure if you go on the toll roads you understand how they work and how to pay. Local food is really reasonably priced if you choose well. "Botega del Grano" is an excellent choice in Tivoli.

Tivoli is a great location especially if you have previously visited Rome. It is much cheaper than Rome for food and drink and the quality of food is very good. For example we visited a restaurant in Rome for lunch - a restaurant we had previously visited - cost for lunchtime pasta for four with four beers and two Aperol Spritz 107 Euro's. Night time meal in Tivoli at a restaurant specializing in food from Tuscany for starters, meat main courses, six beers and 4 Aperol Spritz cost 117 Euro's.
Tivoli offers easy access to Rome via Train. To be honest having visited Rome before was disappointed with how expensive it has become, entry to alot of the venue's had massively increased in price and hour long queues. Also found the city very dirty.

If you like quaint rustic italy, this is for you, gorgeous scenery, lots to do but do homework first as if you do not have a car, the public transport needed a recky first. Not all cafes open on a Monday, but when they are the food is lovely and very reasonably priced. Taverna de Dracula is a must fir romanian cuisine
The Double Room with Private Bathroom is an interesting room with a very high ceiling, on the top floor of an old house full of character, located near the center of Tivoli. Breakfast is provided in the room. The room and the bathroom were nice and clean, and there's a good air conditioner in the room. We liked the roof-top terrace. Giovanni is a very friendly, helpful host. He seems to know everyone in the neighborhood, and introduced us to them as he helped us to bring our bags up from the car when we arrived.
The location is perfect. A short walk to Villa d'este (Tivoli Gardens). The restaurant on the ground floor and terrace is used by locals, so it's a great place to observe local culture and even connect with locals in conversation. Our room, 203, (with the rectangular jacuzzi tub) looked out over the restaurant patio below and provided great ambiance to our room above. The hotel is very small, three rooms, and is definitely boutique. You'll feel special to stay here unless you need 24hr service.
we had a fantastic stay at the villa di Bruto. the owners are very friendly and they gave us a tour through the garden where we could discover the ruins of the old senator villa. Very interesting!
our room was very clean, beautiful and had a fantastic view (we could also see the St. Peter from Vatican City).
You can also reach the old city of Tivoli within walking distance. Parking is for free on the property of the villa.
if you stay in Tivoli, we can highly recommend this hotel.
We stayed in Domus Aefula for 3 nights recently. The hosts Pietro and Alessia met us and were very informative with regards to the apartment and the local area, they were very helpful. The 2nd floor apartment itself was very clean, spacious well equipped for longer stays. Beds were very comfortable. The location was excellent only a 2 min walk to the centre of Tivoli old town with lots of cafes restaurants and shops. i would definitely recommend staying here if visiting the area.
The apartment is in a central location, close to the train and various sites. There is everything you need, a fully equipped kitchen, two bathrooms and even Netflix. The best thing was the kindness of Mauro, who showed us wonderful places in Tivoli and told us about the history of the place and even offered to accompany us to Villa D’este, it's a shame we only got there for one day. We had a lot of fun. We will definitely go back there if we visit Tivoli.
We had a brilliant time in Tivoli. The flat has all the facilities you need, a large room, and an amazing view from both the room and the balcony. The host was very welcoming and kindly left us some local grapes and pears. Only thing to note is that to get such great views you do need to climb 4 sets of stairs. Nevertheless, the flat is situated perfectly next to very good restaurants. This flat is definitely worth your money!
The place was a lovely historic residence converted into a four room hotel. It’s right next to the river and a short walk from cafes and restaurants. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making sure we got breakfast, assisting with luggage, explaining the history of the place, and just generally always there for us. Make sure you check out the underground heated pool as well.
The house was a nice restoration of an old place in the heart of Tivoli. The location was great for a small market, a few restaurants, gelato, and the major sites of Villa d'Este and Villa Gregoriana. Paid parking was available in 10 mins walk and the train station was 15 mins. It was comfortable, clean, and spacious enough for our family of eight.
It was a lovely stay. The place had everything you could need and it was very quiet. The host was very nice , when we got there he showed us on map what you can visit in Tivoli and also gave us a list of restaurants. Very close to Villa d'este and also not far from train station. 10 min on foot.
Wonderful! A jewel. People in the hotel are the most nice! Big room, very clean. Very good shower. Very good W-Fi. Very silent. Large area, almost a park. Restaurant has very good food and list of wines. All very good and very good price. For sure we will come back!
Il Giardino is excellent. Clean rooms, lovely breakfast with juice, coffee, fruit, yogurt and fresh scrambled egg to order on request. Great friendly staff. Located within 5 minute walk of Tivoli sites and great restaurants.
The house is clean, it has an equipped kitchen and a lovely garden. The location is good, visited both Rome by bus (45 minute drive) and Tivoli.
Marilena was very friendly and helpful.
Good value for the money.
This property is absolutely stunning … with every comfort you might desire.
The host was so kind and helpful.
I would highly recommend staying here while visiting the beautiful and historic Tivoli.
The hotel is located on a congested street in a hodge-podge of a town, but there's free parking available, which is a plus. The breakfast was decent, as was the wifi.
The view was amazing the city was wonderful the host gracious. If you are near Tivoli you need to stay there. It is outstanding breakfast was very good just amazing
