I had lived in Bangkok for > 10 years, and chose Bangna due to it's easy connection to the airport, good facilities and transport links to the city centre. This stay was at the end of a 3 week road trip covering 3000km. Next time I would plan to stay a few more days in Bangna.

Bangna area was disappointing. we chose to stay in Bangna to explor a part of BKK ive never been. But there is nothing in Bangna worth seeing. not an area for tourists. though easy access to Suvunnaphum airport. (30Mins taxi )

Not a tourist area. No rail service near the hotel (yet.) Streets are very quiet and clean. Nice Department stores nearby. Otherwise you need a cab to get anywhere. Airport about 1/2 hour. Shangri-La and Chao Praya about 40 minutes on expressway in quiet times. No ugly tourist traps (you should know what I mean.)

Breakfast is OK but not best. "Orange juice" is really sweetened colored beverage to give you an idea. Milk for coffee in very small doses and on demand otherwise coffee mate. Pool is nice but no chairs to lay in the sun. Price is good but normal for the area which is not high end at all. The unit is spectacular and there is an on-site gym which worked very well for me, because I like to exercise each morning. It's close to everything that you would want and need in Bangkok, but at the same time quiet as it is not located directly on a major road. Excellent value for the money. I highly recommend it

The manager managed to get our room available earlier, so we can take some rest before afternoon meeting. During the flood, the staff able to get SUV taxi to go out and in the hotel. The room is large and clean. The price is competitive.

Hade shuttle bus every 30 min. Very good. Staff was very friendly and service minded. Breakfast was ok. Had everything except pancakes but i will survive :) Really good hotel if you dont mind take the BTS to city 20 min ride. 7-11 very close.
