Ravenstone Lodge ligt op 8 km van Keswick, aan de voet van de berg Ullock Pike en biedt een prachtig uitzicht op de Northern Fells. The view of the hotel is absolutely stunning! Sadly we are only staying for one night. We have a nice view from our room, and even a surprising sunset view from the toilet! We had dinner before heading to the hotel, but I instantly regretted it because the menu looks attractive and you could sit outside and look at the great view. The breakfast was very nice as well.

Vriendelijke ontvangst en ze kan fantastisch koken. De kamer is mooi en compleet ingericht. Ontbijt heerlijk, uitzicht super en na een lange wandeling is dit wat je nodig hebt.

The room was beautifully appointed, with attention to detail that ensured a luxurious and restful experience. The bed was like sleeping on a cloud, and the views from our window were picturesque, offering a serene backdrop to our stay. The location was ideal for exploring the natural beauty of the Lake District, with easy access to roads, trails and lakes. Tarn Hows was close by and simply quintessentially English countryside at its best! What truly set this B&B apart was the genuine care and hospitality of the hosts. Het Lake View Country House ligt in een tuin van 0,4 hectare, in het pittoreske dorpje Grasmere. Het is gevestigd in een onlangs gerenoveerd historisch pand met originele kenmerken. The suite was very clean and immaculately presented. It had everything that we needed and we greatly enjoyed our stay. We loved the house and the grounds which are clearly very well looked after. Dogs are more than welcome and catered for with treats and blankets. The property was very easy to find and the private parking was useful. Having a discount at The Good Sport pub was a bonus.

Foxghyll Country House ligt in het hart van het Lake District en op slechts 5 minuten rijden van Ambleside. De B&B biedt gratis WiFi en gratis privéparkeergelegenheid. De mooie ligging aan een smalle weg waar alleen bestemmingsverkeer langs komt. Zeer verzorgde woning en kamers. Voortreffelijk ontbijt. Zeer vriendelijke en gastvrije gastvrije en gastheer.

Rydal Lodge Hotel ligt op een prachtige locatie aan de rivier en biedt elegante accommodatie in het Lake District, op 3,2 km van het centrum van Ambleside. We had a lovely stay at Rydal lodge. It was the perfect little getaway! Mark and Helena went out of their way to make our stay comfortable, giving us advice on where to eat and walk. Our room was comfortable and cosy. The gardens and surrounding area was beautiful, with easy access to Rydal lake. Couldn't recommend enough!

Ees Wyke Country House is een elegant Georgiaans pand in het Lake District, op minder dan 3 mijl van de stad Hawkshead. Breakfast was excellent. We loved having afternoon tea and scones in the drawing room, and a refreshing cider served while we read. Books about Beatrix Potter and a sunny window seat to snuggle up and read were very much appreciated.

Deze bed & breakfast ligt in het Lake District, wordt beheerd door een familie en beschikt over kamers met gratis WiFi en uitzicht op de heuvels. I love this place. I booked it last minute as I got a late start to my drive up north and didn’t get as far as I was hoping, but my stay here was a pleasant surprise and I’m so glad I got to stop here. Incredibly clean, comfortable, with clear thought put into providing anything a guest might want. Breakfast was delicious, and the view out the window while eating provided a great start to the morning. I would gladly go out of my way to stay here again.
