All the staff were good but we need to make a special mention to Isatou kassama; who was the lovely, smiley and super professional every time we spend some time in the Madeleine bar. Thank you Isatou kassama for making our stay so special.

EVERYTHING! I can not say enough about how much we enjoyed our stay. Everything we needed or wanted was provided for us. Chrissy was a fabulous host. The accommodations were spotless. The pictures did not really do our room justice. The upstairs bedroom and bathroom were roomy and so comfortable. Breakfast was a gourmet meal. Each day we were served something different. It was a feast! The location was great. An easy walk to stores, restaurants and buses. Honestly, we hated to leave. You are missing out if you don’t book a stay here.

This rating can only be a 10. The property is very close to shops, good restaurants and access to public transport. We stayed in a 2-bedroom apartment. The apartment is spotlessly clean and well-equipped. Beds are comfortable. The lounge area is an absolute delight. We made good of the gym and running track. Next time we’ll visit the cinema room and possibly use the BBQ facilities. Contrary to what previous guests mentioned in their reviews, I had no difficulty finding the car park, I was able to register my rental car for parking on the same day and i had no issues with check-in and check-out times. It is worth-noting that I called them about a day or two in advance to discuss these. I strongly recommend that.

Dating back to 1890, Elmdon Lodge still retains many original features, and has free Wi-Fi and free parking on site. The property has a quiet location in a leafy cul de sac, but is 5 minutes’ walk from the train station and 15 minutes’ drive from Birmingham.

We loved the room, it was very very clean, and the bathroom very modern. The house has backyard and parking for multiple cars. The guy and his wife Catherine are really great people, they were so nice and very helpful. They served us complimentary fresh coffee with croissant and we enjoyed it at the backyard. We recommend everyone to book at their Lovely lodge. You will never regret it

    Perfect quiet location in Brindley Place which is ideal for the Utilita Arena. Room was basic but very clean and had everything we needed for an overnight stay (including ironing board and iron) The breakfast was superb. The best we’ve had at a hotel of this type. Cooked to order fried eggs and omelettes and plenty of choice of everything. The staff were lovely - very friendly and helpful. We would definitely go back.

    Room was very clean and comfortable. Bed linen was amazing and the pillows. Toilet roll was awful. Very cheap which wasn't the vibe of the hotel. Breakfast very expensive and chaotic. Darren in charge of breakfast was wonderful and helped us navigate the madness of breakfast. Front of house staff were great. Nothing was too much to sort out. Location was excellent. I would stay again with no hesitation.

    Great location. Ideal for Utilita Arena and the city centre. Room was very clean, beds very comfortable, and an excellent shower. Friendly staff made us feel very welcome. A special mention for the gentleman on duty at breakfast (Sean, I think), who was really friendly and helpful and had a great sense of humour. Thank you

    I did not have breakfast. Location was ideal: reasonably easily accessible by road, and a few minutes' walk from Bournville Station - from where it was easy ( and cheap ) to take a train into the Centre of Birmingham. Ample car parking on site, and friendly and helpful staff. Also plenty of eating places nearby.

    You do not have to check in at the desk, you use your phone which is good as you get to check in quicker. Room and hotel was spotless and location is ideal for concerts and to get to the centre!

    Fantastic location less than 10 mins walk to Utilita Arena and Temple Row; very clean throughout the hotel; very comfortable beds; tea facilities in room; good self service breakfast; friendly and helpful staff; value parking on site. A great budget hotel, would stay again.
