    It is one of more modern style spas (100 years old only) in the Czechia and easy to access by train from Prague. Great for cycling, because it is mostly flat land and routes available along the rivers. There also historical landmarks from the time before the spa. Nice park and 8 freely available mineral springs (April-October). You can take a boat ride as a full trip or only one-way (to Nymburk and get back by train or to the merge of rivers Elbe and Cidlina). It is good for small children too, there are some fine playgrounds, but only two are near the historical part, rest is in the north of the town (across the railway). Other interesting spots for a trip (by a car) are available from here (for example Kutná Hora).

    I found very little of interest (the castle museum was closed). It's just an ordinary town with a nice square. I ate in the Trattoria where the waitress spoke good English and where they serve a decent pizza and good grappa.

    Very good value for money. The room was big, quiet and clean. Bed comfy. Ok, the sofa was not clean, so I didn't touch it much, but that is also understandable. I didn't get breakfast, but I saw it and it looked ok. Receptionist and other staff were nice. Great communal spaces:: big kitchen, outside garden with chairs and tables, terrace. Also a renting bike services. The location is super, in front of the park and very quiet and safe.

    The room was impeccably clean. The bed was comfortable. Although I wish I had had a room facing the park, which is one of the loveliest I have ever seen, mine had a terrace with lounge chairs. (Unfortunately, it rained throughout most of my stay.) Cucina has to be one of the best restaurants in the Czech Republic, although it is expensive. The chefs are skilled and accommodating. The waiters are attentive and kind.

The staff here is absolutely wonderful (5-Star staff on a rank of 5 of 5) ✨ The breakfast is best in town, perfect for an athlete like myself. There is no other place quite like this one.     The place was better than we expected. Clean, spacious apartment with all necessary appliances (dish washer included). Heated Bathroom Floor was a pleasant surprise. Parking for a very affordable price only 100 mts from the place. Very polite and helpful staff. Great coffee downstairs! 100% recommended
