Clean, tidy, modern. Excellent kitchen. Excellent shower and private bathroom. Very competitive price. For £15/£20 more, I'd like kettle and cups with sachets in room. TV on wall. Big mirror for wife to do makeup, check how she's dressed. Maybe some toiletries.

Not much to do here and fairly run down like any other city in the Midlands, but have enough facilities if you visit nearby places like Trentham Garden or Keele University.
Fairly good connection by bus and private vehicle, but a bit difficult to arrive by train (need to arrive at Stoke-on Trent station and need a bit of bus ride).

Liked There was everything you needed at hand .... the kitchen was small but compact , there was cutlery , frying pan , pan and plates microwave, hob ... tea , coffee and sugar but NO milk had to go shop down the road and buy it. Reason was because of covid , but all other hotels I've stayed does provide this ... bathroom small but convenient, shower basin wasn't cleaned ! Small sofa was fairly comfortable... THE BIGGEST ISSUE WAS THE BED . WAS 2 SINGLES PUSHED TOGETHER, very shocking and a bit dangerous I thought , there was a big gap in the middle , i love to toss and turn at night but kept waking up so didnt get hardly any sleep for my 2 night stay . my boyfriend who lives near by ended up going home instead !! There was no where to eat on sight either , I will not be using this hotel again ....

Very well organised and a nice welcome on our arrival.
Very well organised and a nice welcome on our arrival. Key code access to allocated areas. Friendly and helpful staff. Large room, nice facilities, very decent bathroom (large), with corner bath and shower (great pressure), and plenty of hot water. Fridge (with cold milk supplied - nice touch), and a courtesy tray with tea, coffee, hot chocolate, biscuits, sugars and sweeteners. Would highly recommend, fairly priced and well worth the money. Will definitely stay again, should the occasion arise.

It's a lovely little town.
It's a lovely little town. Beautiful flower baskets and little craft stalls on weekends. It felt safe. Well maintained parks and recreation areas. A good selection of shops and restaurants. Overall, it is a relaxing town.
There are homeless people begging, but they're not aggressive the way they are in other towns.

We stayed Monday night we went out for food and a look around the town most food places were already closed. Including McDonald’s and the ones that were open didn’t serve food after 9pm which is an average time. We did find a little Italian restaurant which was ok, loverly little place but the pasta and sauces dishes weren’t homemade from scratch. My daughter said dolmio has more flavor lol.

It was perfect for my family of five as we visited Bewilderwood in Cheshire. The three bedrooms were very cosy and comfortable and the kitchen was very functional. There is a wide choice of nearby restaurants which suited us well as we were not planning on cooking. There is a big Supermarket and fuel station just 300.2 miles away which was very convenient. On street parking wasn't hard to find as advertised which was also very good. Overall my wife and kids enjoyed the house. Free WiFi was an added bonus
The Courtyard is a modern, recently built hotel located ideally for those wishing to visit or to work at the nearby University campus. There’s not much to add, as we stayed there only one night. It is comfortable and modern, and the rooms are larger than average.
There are numerous places to visit nearby – not just the university. The Wedgewood Museum and Whitmore Hall are very close. We visited the Jodrell Bank Observatory, which is about 30 minutes away by car.
Amazing value - the room was a good size and nicely appointed and decorated. Very clean - and the towels and linen smelt so fresh and comforting. Access codes made coming and going so convenient, and a small shared kitchen was a useful addition that I didn’t use but great to know for next time. Fridge in the room with fresh milk and water + hot drink accompaniments that are much more in keeping with a good hotel. Really good experience and will visit again
Kevin was so welcoming and gave me all the information I needed. The room was large, spotlessly clean (and I'm really picky!) and it was quiet. I slept very well and felt very safe. My first time alone in a guest house instead of a large hotel. Lots of street parking available during the evening and also car park just across the road. Property is at the end of a no through street so relatively quiet.
Nice breakfast, not a lot of child orientated breakfasts options, but from where the hotel is I wouldn't have thought they would have got a lot of children visiting unless they were going to Cauldwell Children Centre on Campus. My son had a sofa bed all to himself, so he was quite happy. Quite quiet so we all got to sleep early,
Easily accessed with free parking spaces behind. The landlady Julie was so welcoming and lovely, showing us around thoroughly and making sure we were settled and had everything we needed. The room itself was spacious and beautifully presented, the TV was huge and the bed was the best hotel bed we’ve ever slept on! Like a cloud!
The key code entrances were fantastic. Staff were lovely and welcoming and made sure to inform us of everything we needed to know. Lovely rooms with extra special touches like a teddy on the bed to give a more homely feel and the tv having ability to use Netflix was a nice bonus many hotels don’t have.
Amazing luxury apartment with wonderful and modern decoration and lighting, all the space cleaned and ready for me, the accommodation was working a perfectly also the tub is good. All staff was professional and helpful, the location is perfect to found.
Staff were friendly and approachable and helpful.. Facilities very comfortable, clean and had everything we needed including a ground floor room.. Price was excellent. We may need to return to Newcastle under Lyme and if we do will stay there again.
Was greeted by a lovely lady who showed me around the hotel. Breakfast was included with my booking which I didn't know beforehand; lovely surprise. The room was well-kept and anything I asked from the hosts was never too much trouble for them.
It was a lovely one-night stay in Newcastle Under Lyme, the room is quiet and calm. The facilities were conducive and well maintained. Plus the staffs were friendly and very attentive to details, I couldn't ask for more
Excellent hotel. We stayed here again to break up a journey with our toddler. Easy to find just off the M6. Rooms lovely and clean. Much nicer than the more standard motorway hotels. Would thoroughly recommend.
The room was pretty good value for money, also it was clean and very spacious. Couldn't really fault it to be honest would certainly book again if was back at alton towers which was the purpose of the visit.
The location was great - easy to get to Keele University the following day and close to Newcastle under Lyme town centre to get some food. Room was comfortable and clean, bathroom had a very good shower.
Lovely well presented property. Ideal
Location for Newcastle under Lyme and Keele university. Quiet location with parking. Accommodates 6 comfortably. Will book again.
