Lovely place to stay. Absolutely couldn't fault it. Spotless and comfortable room, welcoming hosts, and a great breakfast. Location was good for us too, only a few mins walk from the station. This was our first visit to Sheringham but when we return we will stay here again.

Perfect base for our weekend in Sheringham. There was a small, unforseeable, issue which was dealt with promptly by the host. Would highly recommend.

We had a room with a wonderful sea view which was so lovely to watch the rough sea (weather was very windy). The beds were comfortable and the en-suite was clean. The restaurant was excellent and fully booked. We had to wait a while for a food but we was in no rush, and the food was excellent when it arrived. The coffee and tea making facilities in the rooms are good as well. The staff were very good and nothing too much trouble for them. This trip was pure sightseeing with my friend from Australia and will be coming back with husband for another stay. By the way at lunch time before they opened there was a queue waiting to get into the restaurant, that's how good they are!

Sheringham is a charming seaside town that has a variety of shops that suits most pockets! Plenty of eating establishments to choose from within pubs or as restaurants. We ate dinner at the Two Lifeboats and it was lovely. We had a bit of a wait for the food but we was not in a rush and was well worth the wait. The restaurant was packed! The theatre is good and has varied entertainment and worth seeing a show if you have the time. There are supermarkets for those who are self catering the biggest one being near the train station. Sheringham is lucky to have two types of train station. The British Rail service takes you into Norwich with various stops en-route and worth visiting. The other station is run entirely by volunteers and boasts a wonderful steam engine. This is a very enjoyable journey into Holt. The pavements in Sheringham can be busy and often walking into roads is required where you have to be aware of cars (both way). The Mo (Sheringham Museum) is worth a visit as is the Shell art display. I love this charming seaside resort and unfortunately did not have the option to sit on the beach (cold, windy and very rough seas) but can imagine very nice on a hot sunny day.

A really nice town with a mix of shops.
A really nice town with a mix of shops. Lovely walks along the seafront and interesting museum,RNLI and fishermans lifeboat history. Also a lovely, albeit quite small shell gallery. A good choice of places to eat in the evening although pre-booking is advisable at many. Also the Poppy line steam train to Holt is well worth the money. We felt Sheringham was very clean and well presented for tourists and a credit to the residents and Council with a nice family beach for the younger ones. All in all a lovely place to stay.

The cafe at the nearby Lighthouse Baptist Church was a great place for lunch and the Little Theatre had an excellent programme. Shops and public library very good places to visit. Easy to get around one way system by car and plenty of disabled parking spaces.

We were there for a specific event, but found Sheringham itself a bit of a let down. Maybe because it was April and out of season? but everything seem to close at 4pm and then practically completely shut down by 8pm!
AND THIS IS ON A SATURDAY!
There was only one proper takeaway fish and chip bar (2 others were closed down) and this one had a queue the length of the entire road!
Even the restaurants were closed by 8!
After that the only things that were still open were amusements and ice cream bars, of which I counted at least 4! within feet of each other!
Where does everyone go?

A great base for a North Norfolk short stay.
A great base for a North Norfolk short stay.
We find that Sheringham is mainly day trippers so becomes quiet come early evening, not as crowded as other spots with a handful of good eateries.
Access to Cromer via the beach walk or cliff top walk or bus or train if not feeling energetic.
Holt via the steam train is a great day trip from here.
A lot of country parks/national trust properties within half hour drive.
Don't miss whelks copper tea rooms overlooking the pebble beach end of the beach and Stubbys pizza is also great.

Sheringham is a small town but with everything you need.
Sheringham is a small town but with everything you need. We visited to go to the Theatre but stayed an extra night. We found a great pizza house (fully booked but we had a takeaway) It was delicious. (Benny’s)
Fish and chips the next day, Pia’s. Such fresh fish and excellent chips. Cooked in veg oil 👍🏼
This was an accommodation only address but was located in a position that gave easy access to the town centre and seafront with its wide range of pubs, eating establishments and traditional shopping areas. On street parking, close to the property proved to be relatively easy but I'm not sure this would be the case in high season. The rear garden was secure and a great area for sitting when the weather is warm enough. Sheringham is a friendly small town and offers great customer service in all shops, pubs and the Heritage Railway.
What a great find! The Ramey is in an excellent location, on a quiet residential road, with off street parking and only a short walk from the seafront and local shops/restaurants. Served as a good base to explore North Norfolk. The apartment itself was clean, modern, spacious and well stocked with all necessary amenities. Lovely peaceful garden terrace (apartment 2, ground floor) where we could sit with a coffee and watch the world go by. We really enjoyed our time there - would thoroughly recommend.
The staff was wonderful: friendly and helpful. I really liked that breakfast was until 11 (not a morning person), and they accommodated us even when we were late (we loved the full english breakfast!). The room was spacious and the beds very comfortable: firm but not hard. The inn is really in the heart of Sheringham and it felt very cosy to walk back in straight after having been windblown by the shore. Good amenities: ear plugs, biscuits, tea and coffee, hair dryer etc.
The room, Colombo, is a great size also very comfortable and relaxing. Bed also a good size. Great big wardrobe. Perera and Vatsala are a lovely couple - very obliging, friendly and hospitable. We loved the range of fruit provided for breakfast. Also very happy with the location - right next to the old priory and maze and priory gardens - and just a walk away from the town and seafront. We loved Sheringham and had great weather throughout.
A lovely hotel in a great location. Great for the beach, Sheringham and access to other towns.
One of the cleanest hotels we’ve stayed in.
Loved the extra touches like the flapjacks and jelly babies.
I adored the vintage touches, homely and cute.
We would definitely recommend staying here, and wish the new owners every success.
Compact and perfect. Very clean and modern. Beautiful kitchen, sofa area and bedroom with en-suite. It is very convenient to walk in to Sheringham and also for the train to Norfolk and the steam train to Holt. Although it was near a bar and restaurant we were not disturbed at all. It was actually very peaceful.
Set in extensive grounds on the edge of a country park, the hotel was oldie worldly. Bed was comfortable. Hotel was in a great place - close to Burnham Market and close enough to get to Yarmouth, which was an interesting place! A great base for exploring North Norfolk.
The location was fantastic! We love Sheringham, so be able to walk out and in a few minutes either be on the sea front or in the centre of town was brilliant.
Like other guests we cannot compliment the cleanliness highly enough.
10/10 we will definitely rebook 😁
Excellent location, very close to North Norfolk Railway. Elizabeth kindly organised a parking space. Comfortable and very quiet. Good value. The Gangway & Quarterdeck around the corner were good for drinks and food.
Friendly staff, good price compared to rest of Sheringham places to stay full self service kitchen and also lots lounge space etc this is a big yha. Location is handy for Tescos and 5 min walk from station
The breakfast was great and the room was lovely and exceptionally clean. the owners were lovely and really friendly. We had a lovely time on the North Norfolk coast. Very peaceful and relaxing stay.
Very comfortable, well furnished small apartment. Perfect for our four night stay. Better furnished than I expected from the photos and reviews. Near shops and the seafront. Pleasant little town.
The Apartment is in an excellent quiet location almost on seafront in the heart of Sherringham.
It was warm and well equipped for cooking and quite comfortable.
