Bertram's is a restaurant with rooms in the picturesque village of Warkworth. The breakfast is possibly the best that I have had anywhere in the UK. Very generous portions and top quality ingredients. The Kipper was excellent, as was the Full English. The fresh orange juice was actually freshly squeezed. The staff were friendly and welcoming. MY advice would be to make sure that you book a table in the restaurant ahead of your visit.

Love Warkworth. A beautiful village. The castle was magnificent. Was disappointed that the hermatige wasn't open though. Beach stunning and bus easy to catch to Alnwick. Very pretty little village with a couple of shops and pubs and a very nice little cafe/ B&B called Bertram's. Easy and free parking in the village centre. Nice walk to the beach and along the river.

Warkworth is a lovely friendly place with nice restaurants and pubs. It’s close to Amble, Alnmouth and Alnwick with lots of lovely walks and beaches. The food at the Warkworth house hotel is lovely and nice pub grub at the Masons Arms. Topsy turvey make lovely fresh crab sandwiches and delicious home made cakes.

Perfectly positioned to explore the coast and beautiful inland areas. Several choices to eat out - locals very friendly and helpful. Castle amazing. Good local dog walks, both in Warkworth and along to the beach. Unspoilt area.

Warkworth is a lovely place but the main street is quite steep. However, most of the lovely shops are customer friendly. the castle is worth a visit and there is a lovely walk by the river. We loved Grays and The Potting Shed. We ate at other places so cant recommend any in Warkworth but we especially enjoyed the Italian fish restaurant { Carlini? }in Alnwick.Grant

The decoration in the hotel was bright and fresh. The whole staff were always friendly and helpful. A really good place to stay well worth the travel to come away from city Hotels that I believe do not compare to this Gem. The restaurant is always full every night, so you need to book a meal, as locals and people from rented cottages come to eat here.

Downstairs entrance/ cloakroom/boot room kept upstairs accomodation clean and clear of our temporary mess. Nicely laid out kitchen/lounge/diner, great crockery and glassware.Comfortable beds and lovely, fluffy towels. Only sorry that we did not leave a comment in the visitors' book, as we had no pen or pencil.
