Elia beach is a quiet lonely place.
Elia beach is a quiet lonely place. It’s for a family, not a group of young friends that want a touristic young party vibe. Transportation was bad and the area didn’t have any stores / markets. Go to Paradise Beach / Mykonos town, it’s perfect, especially for people in their 20’s - 30’s. Paradise beach and Mykonos town have perfect transportation from the morning till 03:00 in the night

The chairs are crazy expensive 35 euros per chair and 10 euros for a towel so bring your own. If you're staying at the beach all day it may be worthwhile but this was just another example of how much more expensive Mykonos is than other islands. On Santorini we had free beach chairs as long as we had lunch at the restaurant behind them. This seemed like a fair deal and was what we expected in Mykonos. When they told us 70 euros for the chairs we were pretty shocked because we had made a lunch reservation at the restaurant behind and were only spending an hour at the beach.

It’d you are expecting five star service and facilities, think again. The hotel was fine, it was clean and pretty but it lacked finesse.
The restaurants offer of half board is a poor deal. There are other restaurants around that give the five star service you expect.

Elia Beach is lovely but small, very small.
Elia Beach is lovely but small, very small.
To get to Spilia, beach clubs, Mykonos town, shops is a nightmare and expensive. If you want a hotel only holiday and no exploring or dinners out then Elia beach is great. If you want to see more of Mykonos, stay in the town or Ornos.
Absolutely gorgeous luxury hotel perched on the edge of a cliff overlooking Elia Beach; the views from everywhere at the property are to die for; lovely infinity pool; jacuzzi in our suite; great shower and super comfortable beds; the on-site restaurant down by the water (Tiki) is amazing and is a must, even if you're not staying at the hotel; the staff are so friendly and sweet - they gave great recommendations, picked us up from the beach and even upgraded our room on the final night of our stay, which was truly exceptional.
We decided to book this hotel because of its location, near Elia Beach, and for its quality price for the mykonos standards. We are really happy to say we found everything we needed for the price we pay, the staff has waited us at the port and they were all very kind and we helped us for renting a motorbike. The room was quiete, with a comfort design. The location is really good, 20 mins car far from myk town, so our advice is to rent a car/motorbike because buses have few runs.
- Great view from the balcony and pool.
- small quiet pool area
- very quiet rooms
- near Elia Beach (parties at night which we enjoyed on our own balcony ;))
- just 4min walk (very steep) to the beach.
- perfect (hidden gem) Tiki Mykonos for food/drinks at the beach very near (3min)
- got breakfast delivered to our room (thanks Xaroula)
- probably one of the nicest hotel staff I have met so far (got a WhatsApp contact - Nadia helped us to enjoy every moment at the hotel)
very good location and quiet, 20 minutes from center and still enough distant from all the mess and crowded city! hotel is super stylish and comfort but above all is the great stuff and excellent service at the hotel. specifically the kindness and willing to help of George the manger that resolved us any problem and need with big smile.
definitely recommended and again thank you George for your great hospitality and professionalism!!!
Cannot begin to describe just how beautiful Maregold is as a hotel. The room is so cozy and the views are stunning! Can sit in the pool, drink beer and just watch the ocean all day. Most of all Dionisis and Mary are incredible! They cook breakfast every day and its amazing! They are always helpful, pleasant and fun as hosts. Thoroughly enjoyed and recommend highly.
The property is a boutique hotel and had a lovely staff. From even before leaving the UK Tonia got in touch and asked if we had additional needs like airport transfers etc…. The property was very clean and breakfast given to us personally each day at our own table outside. It was super easy to get about and Tonia even helped to organise hiring quad bikes for us.
Everything!!! Steps to a beautiful beach, the view was amazing, easy to get to… the entire resort was stunning and perfect! The staff were so hospitable and kind and went out of their way to make everything special and easy. I had gotten sick from another venue and they took the best care of me. This is one the best hotels I’ve ever stayed at. It’s flawless!
Fantastic place to stay in Mykonos, very close to Elia Beach by car. Christina and Zac were very nice to us and helpful. Full and very tasty breakfast. The room was clean and really comfortable bed.
Relaxing place, perfect to begin our honey moon, very happy to have chosen this place (with special welcoming gift 😊 )we totally recommend it!!
Nothing! Old, terrible customer service!
This hotel is a scam! Nothing as it looks on the pictures. Old, dirty, bad maintained furniture. Terrible!!! The only good thing is Niko the driver who drives you to the beach and does everything in that hotel. Super nice person!
Greta Hotel located at the top of the hill in Elia Beach. Extensive preperty with amazing pool and jacuzzi. Staff was really helpfull and attentive to our requests. Room was spacious and will equipped. Amazing Breakbast Buffet. Private beach is really beautiful.
The friendliness of the stuff is amazing exceptional service.
The private pool is an amazing add on the whole experience!
There is even a private beach sector at the Elia beach which was extremely convenient.
Overall amazing stay in an amazing Hotel
A great hotel just a stone’s throw from the Elia Beach. It’s ideal for both a quite holiday and a party one. Chora with bars and clubs is 15-20 min by car. The area itself is quite and peaceful. The room service prices are quite affordable
I must say it was an exceptional experience. The hotel's location right by the beach provided breathtaking views and a serene atmosphere. The rooms were spacious, beautifully decorated, and equipped with all the necessary amenities.
