The garden is gorgeous. The swimming pool is the best Palenque offers. You are allowed to use it untill 22:00. The water is clean and warm. The bungalows are unique with their enormous, private, roofed terrace. Ideal for your private breakfast. Ask for the rooms in front of the "arroyo" (creek). There you have complete privacy, are in front of the jungle, hear all the animals and the creek.

For added convenience, the property can provide towels and bed linen for an extra charge. I loved the Cabañas Junkolal Tziscao. I arrived shortly after a strong storm had passed through and left the entire area without power. Junkolal was prepared with an electric generator. While they didn't run it all the time (nor would I have expected them to), I was grateful that they were prepared to provide energy during a blackout. I was also pleased with their wonderful, folksy service. There was a group staying there at the same time that got a little loud a few times, but staff made sure that the group was quiet after dark and didn't disturb the other guests. Nery was an especially great host. He thoroughly described the property, it's coffee farm, and overlook, and the area to me. He was happy to provide tours (for a well-deserved and reasonable fee, of course) to nearby sites. Cabañas Junkolal Tziscao was my favorite stay during a 3-week vacation throughout Chiapas. I would definitely recommend it!

A continental breakfast is available daily at the lodge. Adriana is the best host ever. She makes you feel at home and is ALWAYS and I mean always available and ready to help. The place is a paradise and everything is super clean. Its a true mayan experience and super close to the famous ruins. The food is phenomenal and the location of the restaurant is breathtaking. Just have in mind that Its a little hard to reach if you dont have a car but non the less you can take a taxi since its not too far from the center. And she has 2 lovely dogs that are very polite.. just watch out... you will want to pet them all day. So a big thank you to Adriana and her team for making us feel very welcome and made sure that we had the best stay we could. And thank you for the beautiful parting gift:) we will come back very soon.

Ecolodge Las Nubes features free Wi-Fi and an on-site restaurant. The bungalows at this hotel are equipped with a private terrace, plus cozy wooden décor. They come with a private bathroom, a fan and a wardrobe, and also boast views of the gardens. This ecolodge is like a dream. The location next to the river and waterfall are unreal. The food at the restaurant is also very good. I stayed at three difference ecolodges in Chiapas, and this was by far the best.

Very good recommendations on what to do and how to move around. Restaurant on-site is good and convenient. We loved the pool! The accomodation was perfect,with a nice private terrace. The place is excellent to rest and relax. Btw we arrived walking from ADO, a nice path!
